We did this tour as part of a birthday outing and it was a fantastic way to spend the afternoon! Half of our group was very knowledgeable about the Odyssey and the other half knew nothing about it, but Nicole did a great job of keeping everyone engaged. It was so interesting to see the British Museum through the story of the Odyssey - I'd really recommend it for an alternative day out or a unique way to see this famous museum. We all came away with new favourite stories and facts. My favourite bit was learning about the way the ancient greek pots were painted and the meaning of some of the colours. I actually really wish we could do it all over again!
Tour really exceeded my expectations, it's fun, very well researched and introduces clear motifs through characters and events that make it understandable, immersive and very memorable! Nikol was very enthusiastic and welcoming and made me feel comfortable asking all the silly questions (which she knew answers to!). Would certainly recommend if you enjoy the Odyssey or Greek myths/pottery in general! Thank you Nikol for a lovely tour :)
