We have done a lot of cooking experiences on our holidays. This was one of my favourite. Super organized . The instructor was engaged and funny. Directions to get there simple. Opportunity to meet new people and chat. Bagels were delicious!! Highly recommend

Such a nice, atypical experience and the bagels at the end were amazing!

Let me start by saying the Bagel Class was so fun! And yummy. And incredibly well run. We would definitely do this again. We started with an overview of Montréal bagels (and a few good natured jokes about how they are better than New York bagels, of course), followed by a step by step demonstration of how to make our dough. We each had our own work station and made enough dough for 3 bagels. The recipe was easy to follow and the instructor stopped by regularly to make sure it was all coming together properly. While the bagels were boiling and baking, we mingled with the rest of the class and then got to dig in! The bagels were perfect. Warm and crispy, slightly sweet. So glad we had skipped breakfast so we were able to eat more. My only word of advice is that the Uber maps take you to the wrong address, so have your driver use Google unless you want a 15 minute walk from where Uber thinks the building is and where it actually is. This happened to a couple of us in the class. Thankfully the class itself was so awesome that it didn’t matter. If you enjoy baking - or eating. You will definitely love this class.

Will was informative and made the class fun. We made the bagels with our own hands and they tasted great like Montreal bagels should.! Will’s sense of humour kept us entertained. I think I will be able to replicate these bagels at home!!!

While a bit peripherally located, it is a good ocasion to combine with the stroll on Boulevard Mont-Royale. The course was really fun, Mike is a wonderful entertainer connecting immediately with all. It was a great mix of education, joking, integrating peoples stories. Instructions were clear, educating. And the bagles were super tasty. Actually, it was my first time to taste really fresh bagels. I left very happy, with the receipe, some key ingredients you can buy onsite, and a full tummy.

Super fun and approachable class, great for all ages. We took our teenagers and our 9-year old and all were happy. Bagels were delicious.

This class was so much fun! Will is a great teacher and keeps everyone engaged with his jokes and stories. And the bagels we made were delicious!! Highly recommend.

My wife and I had a GREAT time at the class and found Will to be very friendly, informative, and engaging. I saw some reviews from years ago that reference a home kitchen, rest assured this was in a commercial space in the old Cadbury Factory building which has been refurbished into very cool loft spaces. Plenty of bathrooms, great cleaning practices with washing sink in the kitchen where we were baking. My wife was a little apprehensive about taking our first cooking/baking class but were very happy with how it went. Totally approachable class for anyone with no experience right up to experienced baking, but wanting to learn the nuances of Montreal bagels and the differences between other bagels. This class totally removed intimidation we had with making bagels and now we're ready to go crazy and try for ourselves at home.

Highly recommend this experience for anyone visiting Montreal! Will is extremely knowledgeable and does a wonderful job at making the class fun and engaging.
