Welcome to the only place in Montreal that will teach you how to make Montreal bagels! Montreal bagels are world famous for their shape, taste and texture. A trip to Montreal isn't complete until you've tried one of these amazing bagels. So why not try your hand at making them yourself? We will teach you the secrets on how to make some deliciously unique authentic Montreal style bagels at home, the easy way. We will start by learning how to properly mix and knead the dough. We will discuss how different flours and water amounts affect the final texture of the dough and crust. I have adapted the best Boulanger (Bread Maker) techniques to the home kitchen. You will become a confident baker at home in no time! We will go step by step from mixing the dough, letting it rest, to shaping the bagels, to boiling them, dressing them with various toppings, baking them and finally eating them! This workshop is super hands on so this is far from the "Watch the pro" type workshops out there.

Very fun experience for the family
This was such a fun activity! Instructor was very knowledgeable, funny and extremely organized!! Loved everything about this and bagels were SO YUMMY!
Fun experience. Everyone in class seemed to be enjoying it. The owner, Will, added nice touch of humor to explaining everything in detail. This was one of the best experiences we have ever had on a Viator tour. We even bought the ingredients to make numerous batches of bagels once we get home. Highly recommend.

We came with friends, and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the class. Very good time -- and worth the money. Will was able to teach to multiple ages simultaneously and added a good deal of humor to the process. He has simplified the process so literally anyone can do it -- even with no baking experience. He had all the paraphernalia there for sale if you wanted it. The bagels were hot and delicious, and he handed out the hard-copy recipe at the end. We will definitely bake them at home for our family. Thumbs up!
