The Badass Broads of Charleston Walking Tour

The tour by Jonathan is not to be MISSED. From the start of the tour to the tour’s end, we were immersed in history and at times felt like we were living it. Best tour taken in a while! Tracy

It’s not too much walking! This tour was great, the roads/sidewalks aren’t too bad but pay attention when walking. There was some other tours happening too and you can see the horse carriage tours.

Jonathan's tour was such an unexpected delight. He navigated our small group through Charleston and took us back in time with the tales of the brave and intrepid women who made up Charleston's past, and recent past too. You can tell he is passionate about the subject and it is a tour for all ages. I highly reccomend.

The Badass Broads tour is one of the most interesting tours we’ve taken in our many years of going to Charleston! Jonathan is an excellent and enthusiastic guide with in-depth knowledge of the Badass Broads of Charleston. Thoroughly enjoyable and worth the money!

this was an amazing tour. Jonathon is a great story teller and was very knowledgable about the ladies, the city. on a side note... the mango smoothie at the Bitts & Beau meeting place was very yummy

Three of us took the Badass Broads of Charleston tour, a couple of us live near Charleston and have taken several different tours of the city over the years, this was by far the BEST Tour! Jonathon was SO knowledgeable an a great tour guide. This is a must do when everyone visiting Charleston! The best tour ever!!

We take tours via Viator and Trip Advisor throughout the world. We’ve had wonderful experiences but THIS walking tour was EXCEPTIONAL! Jonathan knows how to weave a story and include a great deal of information into one story at each point. You will not regret taking this tour and learning the history of various Bad Ass women of Charleston and the importance of these women in history! Our niece booked the tour for the family and it was perfect!

John is very knowledgeable and offers a fascinating glimpse into Charleston’s rich history. Very glad we did it— highly recommend!

Fabulous tour with Jonathan learning about influential women in Charleston's past. Jonathan, obviously, loves what he does and his enthusiasm is contagious. The time spent with him went by way too quickly and I will be looking to book more tours with him in the future!

Started almost 15 min late, d/t late arrivals walking up in the same group. Then, our tour went over time by 30 min.,(even when we were asked if this was ok, we politely said we had pressing appointments to prepare for…. We were pretty much ignored by our Guide). Our Guide said even he was going to be “late” for his next tour. This was d/t a combo of starting late and our Guide’s excessive talking at each of our stops. I also heard from the guide he had a choice of 9 or more tours he could have taken us on, however, we had no opportunity to select any of these options. As you can tell. I was unimpressed with this tour d/t the circumstances and organizational abilities of our Guide. Sorry to say, I definitely would NOT recommend this tour to others.
