Teotihuacan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Commonly referred to as the City of the Gods, this pre-Columbian Mesoamerican city is known for its well-preserved murals, vast Avenue of the Dead and the impressive pyramids that mark its landscape. Arrive at the archeological park before the crowds in the early morning just as it begins to open its gates. Take in the serene and mystical atmosphere as your group meanders through large empty plazas in the absence of the crowds and explore the pyramids. View the murals, architectural as your guide explains their archeological significance, and tells stories about the culture that inhabited this ancient city.
Once you’ve marveled at the pyramids of Teotihuacan, continue your journey with a stop at an authentic obsidian workshop. Learn how this volcanic stone has been worked for centuries, enjoy a tequila tasting, and perhaps take home a handcrafted memento.
Right there, you will take the lunch (not included in the price), which, by the variety of dishes and its Mexican traditional flavor, is in itself another great experience before your guide delivers you back to the central meeting points.

George was a really nice guide, I really enjoyed the tour and everything we did and I learned so much about the history of the place.
Awesome trip, the tour guide Jorge and driver Moses were excellent!
We were lucky enough to have Gerson as a guide, truly very good! The whole time he conducted the tour in English and Spanish. I couldn't stop smiling, he is really nice!
The experience was super good! Our guide Alexa was super friendly at all times, handled both languages (English-Spanish) super well, was super attentive to the whole group, and provided a lot of very interesting information; also, I must highlight our driver Frank (I hope I'm spelling his name right), who was also super friendly and had a great vibe. There is quite a bit of walking, so wear comfortable shoes! And as for the food, I didn't buy the food experience since I am vegan and I wasn't sure if there would be options for me, but there is another restaurant where I was able to eat since they had vegetarian/vegan-friendly options. Very good experience, so I recommend it!
The best experience to get to know the city of Teotihuacán. The schedule is perfect, the opportunity for pickup, the tour, the timing, and the activities. The only area for improvement is to expand the variety of choices for where to eat, rather than just providing access to one place. The guide Poncho does an excellent job; it is clear that he loves his work, he is very professional, attentive, and knowledgeable about history.
Our guide, Giovanna and driver, Alvin, were top notch. Gio gave the best insights on the history of the site and Alvin was great at keeping us safe on the road. Would definitely recommend this tour.
Nice discovery of a surprising civilization. The guide is very pleasant with very accessible English.
We had a great time on this tour, even though my five-year-old was worn out about midway through. The guide was informed and knowledgeable. The tour itself was better than the souvenir market we stopped at afterwards, but we had opted for lunch for the kids just in case. This is a long day with an early start, but it was nice to get out before the crowds in the cool morning. It was great meeting guests from other countries.
It was incredible to see the pyramids of Teotihuacan! Our tour guide, Salvador, was exceptional at explaining the history and significance of the pyramids and surrounding civilization (in English). He was kind enough to answer many of the additional questions I had throughout the tour. We were able to climb the pyramids which permitted it, but one of them (Sun) was closed off to the public. The actual tour itself was great - no issues. Driver and tour guides were very accommodating and ensured everyone had food and water before and during the tour. We unfortunately were not able to participate in the lunch and tequila tasting, due to a conflicting event. What we wished we had done different was to Uber to the meeting location (a hostel). We paid extra for a pick up service since it was early morning, but it was not a great experience for us since we were not aware that this service picked up other people as well. It took awhile, the driver was not that helpful in telling us where we were going, and we would have rather traveled separately. Lastly: if you appreciate a more in depth, private experience of the history, and if’s within budget, I would suggest doing a private tour. That’s what I should have done, looking back. There is so much history, and traveling with a larger group of people can make it difficult to make time for explaining the significance of the many of the fascinating structures and sculptures.
The meeting point is easy to find and the tour started on time. The guide, Alex, was excellent and communicated the information about the place and its history very clearly; you learn a lot during the tour. Likewise, the driver that day, Danny, drove calmly and safely, which is not the norm in Mexico. I do not recommend the buffet lunch. The food is good but there is not much variety. It is better to order from the menu at the restaurant where lunch is served. The minibus is quite new but a little uncomfortable, especially in the front seats. Overall, I recommend the tour 100%. I loved it and Teotihuacán is a magical place.
