Very informative guides, lovely scenery & amazing natural beauty- so iconic. Tour experience & entertainment was great
Haka ceremony not long enough but still awesome. Geothermals are good to see but not exceptional. Art n craft area is good to watch for a bit but again nothing exceptional.
Amazing afternoon at te puia. Saw kiwis, cultural arts, the mud pools and geysers. The dinner buffet was outstanding and we finished with a beautiful maori cultural experience. Highly recommend
Brilliant experience. Cody (and other staff) were informative, helpful and friendly. Cody (our guide) had a great sense of humour, a pride in his work and his culture and promoted the ongoing learning of Maori language, culture and crafts for future generations. We learned and experienced much in relation to geothermal areas, nocturnal Kiwis, Maori culture and language and the ongoing education of future Maori generations as skills are passed on to the next generation.
Tēnā koe (hello), Thank you for the wonderful feedback! We’re so glad Cody and the team made your visit memorable. It’s great to hear you enjoyed learning about our geothermal valley, kiwi, Māori culture and the work being done to pass these skills on to future generations. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with Cody. Kia pai te rā (have a nice day)
It was a great place and awesome experience for me and my family! Probably I'd like to return in my net visit in NZ! :-)
It was a beautiful family experience. Beautiful landscapes, beautiful encounters, beautiful cultural sharing, the kiwis were there, the hot springs, the traditional Maori oven, the welcome on the Marae. We enjoyed our time at Te Puia and we recommend it. A great activity to do alone, as a couple, or with the family.
