Pablo was an incredible guide! He was kind, knowledgeable, and fun. He not only guided us through the forest to the waterfalls but also informed us about interesting history and did not let us miss out on any of the beauty. The hike itself was stunning and the waterfalls were breathtaking!! Definitely a top tier experience!!
Had an amazing experience the views, the people, the hike itself. Everything about it 10/10
LOVE THE GUIDE ! My friend was scared of heights and he didn’t feel pressured at all to go to the waterfall. The guide was really good at reading the vibe and made sure everyone was having fun, comfortable and safe!
What a great day! Half day actually… Picked up on time by Pablo who was fluent in English and shared a lot of history about El Salvador on the drive. We werein a good size Toyota van that was in good condition. My sister and I wanted a good workout as well as experience the beauty of El Salvador! got both of those things for sure. Wearing good shoes as important as there are lots of unlevel services but certainly doable for two 60+-year-olds. The hike back up was quite a challenge and if you don’t work out, it might take you longer. Bring water. There was plenty of shade and we swam in the waterfalls. So beautiful. We both wore quick dry workout gear. So no bathing suits to worry about. We didn’t even bring a towel. It was just right. The best part on the way back was the Cascadas tienda (store). They happen to have a fresh watermelon that they cut and shared with us. We gave them a few dollars for that and it was a as we were hot and sweaty on our way back out. Salvadoran’s are such warm, kind and welcoming people. This was a really great . Very reasonable I thought for what you get four hours of beauty, a little history and a lot of kindness. Oh and a good workout too!
Amazing guide and awesome tour. Salva was the best!
This was a must see type of waterfall. The hike down is great just make sure to watch your step. The way up is a bit more difficult but definitely worth the trip down to see the waterfall. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Tunco Life Tours will ensure a safe and amazing experience!
We had a great day with Salva! The nature is awesome and we had so much fun! You can't skip this trip!!!!!!
The experience was amazing! It was something I had never experienced before and the waterfalls were great! Salva is a great guide and has a lot of knowledge about the area. I would recommend this hike for people that are interested in adventure and very much in good cardiovascular health and mobility. The hike is challenging and can be difficult at points, but very much worth it!
pablo was a fantastic tour guide! we really enjoyed our time trekking through the mountain and swimming in the waters. he is very knowledgable and we felt very safe and taken care of with him. 10/10 would recommend as a guide!
The tour of Taminique was truly a special experience. Hiking down provided good exercise on moderately hard trail with a refreshing waterfall as the prize. Pablo was professional and informative during the entire trek. The only qualm I have is that there was some litter, a couple of plastic bottles near the waterfall, which is out of the tour guides control, but please remind tourists to be kind to the country's natural resources. Overall, the price is affordable and well worth the 4 hours spent.
