Taste great wines on Balinese style Island on a huge Koi dam and take in the scenic beauty of the Jonkershoek Mountains.
Taste 6 of their available wines and also visit their gorgeous Schoongezicht Manor House Garden, to stop and smell the roses, sit and enjoy the sound of the birds and the bees, or walk the labyrinth for some outdoor meditation while enjoying some old Cape Dutch style buildings.
Taste 5 different wines including the Lady May, Glenelly’s Flagship wine, a Cabernet Sauvignon blended with a dash of traditional Bordeaux grapes. The glass museum can also be visited for a 45 minutes tour or just a walk through 2000 years of glassmaking.

We booked a group tour but were the only couple on this date so if felt like a privately tour. Three vineyards, some lovely wines and a very informative guide, a local guy (sorry, name forgotten!). Also some fabulous scenery. Highly recommended. Incidentally the only tour we found that starts in Stellenbosch, pretty much all start from Cap Town!
This was a fun way to visit some excellent wine estates in the Stellenbosch area. Our driver was a local and knowledgeable about the ones we visited. It was a half day, 4.5hrs, which was enough and we weren’t rushed. We were a group of 4 and then there was another family of 3. Lots of fun!
