Description

Drive through charming communities in the mountainous rural areas on the outskirts of the city, with glimpses of both the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic ocean Last stop is at Pigeon Island National Landmark. Occupied by many throughout its history from Arawaks to admirals, this landmark was particularly valuable because of its vantage point. The island was unattached to the mainland until 1972 when a causeway was built. Inside the park are ancient ruins and stunning beaches. Beach chairs are inclusive in your excursion, and you get 90 minutes to enjoy some rest and relaxation. Feel free to explore the park or even go hiking up the fort. Shower, restroom and changing facilities are on site to freshen up before heading back to the port
