Soweto & Apartheid Museum Combo Tour

We had such a fantastic day exploring Johannesburg with Sean and Hope. Sean was an awesome guide and his guidance through the Apartheid Museum really made the experience so much more meaningful. We also enjoyed visiting Mandela House in Soweto, and trying a bunny chow was a fun and delicious highlight! Hope was a great driver and made the whole day smooth and comfortable. We’d highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Johannesburg!

We skipped Soweto but did Apartheid Museum and downtown JoBurg art created by by local artists-Beautiful murals with deep meaning. We then went to Marble for lunch and Rosebank Arts Market for beautiful South African Carvings and crafts. Shawn customized our day trip for us and was the perfect driver- knowledgeable, knew the city well, and safe driver - would totally recommend this company and driver for transport around JoBurg in the future.

After a recommendation from the Tourist Information centre, I booked a day of safari for two to Pilanesberg in Johannesburg. An excellent day, with great communication from start to finish. Shaun sent us the quotes by text and we agreed the date by phone. The driver arriver promptly and was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He took us on a scenic route for the safari, using a different route back so we saw more of the area. Our safari was brilliant, helped that the group was very good at spotting animals in their natural environment. Apart from the lion, we saw the BIG five and much more. Lunch choices were acceptable. We had the chance to stop at the dam on the way back. Big bonus was to see a giraffe by the roadside when we stopped to take a sunset photo! Thank you a wonderful day, Shaun and team.

As a solo Traveller in Soweto, I think i felt highly confident, thanks to Shaun...wow what a lovely experience, the people are so friendly and welcoming, but what I loved most was the information and the rich history about the place. Thank you so much sociolite tours.

Fantastic experience: we were picked up in the morning and we visited places we couldn't have gone alone. We spent with our guide all day long, but it was a pleasure he was very interesting and share all he knows , we also ate together Always felt safe with our guide, his driving was excellent and very hospitable. This is highly recommended.
