South Iceland is one of the few areas in Iceland not overly blessed with Geothermal Pools. Our exciting South Coast & Sky Lagoon Small Group Day tour has solved this problem by combining the best natural beauty spots of the southern coastline, with the luxury and elegance of Sky Lagoon, one of Iceland´s most acclaimed thermal spas. We visit Seljalandsfoss waterfall, Reynisfjara Black Beach and much more before our day together culminates at the Sky Lagoon. We offer 2 different Sky Lagoon entrance options. The Pure Pass option gives you access to the 7-Step Ritual Experience with access to the steam room, sauna and more. Or upgrade to the Sky Pass option, which includes all of the above in addition to private changing facilities. After a couple of hours at the Sky Lagoon, we transfer you back to your starting point.
Skógafoss Waterfall is 25 meters wide and 60 meters high. This is a very powerful waterfall. View the falls from below or if you are feeling full of energy, ascend the 370 steps to view it from the top.
Tick off an entry in your bucket list and touch a real glacier at Sólheimajökull! We take a short walk up to the glacier snout of Sólheimajökull, a sublet glacier of Mýrdalsjökull, where you can witness the dynamics of Icelandic glaciers, their formation, behavior and rapid melting. Please note that the walk to the glacier takes around 15 minutes
Picturesque town on Iceland´s South Coast
And here are we finally at the famous Black Sand Beach! In Reynisfjara, or Black Sand Beach, you get to experience the raw and alluring force of the North Atlantic and its masterfully shaped basalt column cliffs. The site is equally beautiful as it is dangerous, and should be approached with a healthy level of awe and respect.
Did you ever stand behind a waterfall? Give it a try at Seljalandsfoss! This magnificent waterfall is 66 meters high and let's you even walk around it. But be careful: You might be soaked afterwards. On a good day you will also be seeing the Westman Islands or Vestmannaeyjar from here.
Iceland´s newest Thermal Spa offer the Ritual as part of your Pure Pass ticket. Relax and admire the view from the infinity pool and the view towards Reykjavík. The Sky Lagoon garnered international attention after featuring prominently on Season 26 of ABC´s The Bachelor.

We enjoyed an excellent and thoroughly enjoyable tour of Iceland, arranged an guided by Kjartan Valgardsson. He provided an itinerary well suited to our interestrs and executed the plan without a hitch. He was extremely knowledgeable about history, politics and local culture and is a true educator. He shared generously of his and his family's experience and helped us to understand Icelandic culture and context. He was a pleasure to spend time with. We give him the highest recommendation.
It was a beautiful day, with spectacular landscapes and truly super fun! The waterfalls were definitely among the things we liked the most: very beautiful both to see from afar and to explore up close, even if this inevitably means getting a little wet! The Sky Lagoon, on the other hand, was the perfect way to end the day. After spending so many hours traveling between Icelandic waterfalls and landscapes, relaxing completely in the warm water was truly pleasant. Our guide was Monika again this time! Always very friendly and helpful, this time too she gave us a lot of information about the places we visited, as well as useful tips and warnings during the trip. We also had a few moments of rain, but Monika chose the best route each time to try to avoid it as much as possible, which we really appreciated. She also had us make two very nice extra stops: one to see the Eyjafjallajökull volcano from a distance and one to see the famous church in Vík up close. Both were pleasant additions to the tour.
Axel was a total professional. Incredible sites. So much packed into one day.
We had a great trip with Axel. He was insightful and helpful throughout. We enjoyed the various stops including larger waterfalls, glacier views, black sands and the ultimate stop at Sky Lagoon. Great trip!!
Packed a lot into one day. Enjoyed a bit of Icelandic history on the way. Clear instructions on what we were going to see and when to be back. Had added bonus of seeing puffins and whales at the black sand beach. And the carrot cake there was delicious! Nice gift shop at the last waterfall.
Jon, our tour guide, was GREAT. Super friendly, very knowledgeable and also really patient. The scenery and the stops were beautiful! We even stopped in Vik for lunch, which I thought was supposed to be a "pass by" but it was a great stop and I'm glad we didn't miss it! The bus was quite small, which made walking through or rearranging bags without disrupting anyone else or hitting my head on a seat challenging. I also did the sky lagoon add-on along with 2 other from our tour (but not in my party) and collectively we were told we'd have a taxi to pick us up 2 hours after we arrived. I didn't enjoy the sky lagoon, so I was outside 15-20 minutes early and we waited almost half an hour after the taxi was scheduled, but one never arrived. We ended up all grabbing one from the taxi lineup and the other two from my tour (who paid for it) are now trying to get reimbursed for that. I highly recommend Jon, but can't say a lot for the rest of the tour in terms of the company running it.
Thank you for your detailed feedback and for your very kind words about Jon. We are glad you enjoyed the South Coast, the scenery and the stop in Vík. We are sorry, however, about the Sky Lagoon transfer. The scheduled taxi provider failed to appear for the return transfer, and by the time this became clear it was already outside our normal operating hours. We completely understand how frustrating this was after you had been told that transportation would be arranged. The guests therefore had to arrange their own taxi from the rank. We will reimburse the taxi expense to the traveler who paid for that replacement transfer. We are also sorry that the small-group vehicle felt cramped. These tours use smaller vehicles by design, but we understand that moving through the bus or managing bags can be uncomfortable depending on the seating arrangement. We appreciate that you still highlighted Jon so positively, and we apologise that the failed transfer affected what had otherwise been a good day.
Was picked up on time . We had a great guide Kuba . He had an unlimited amount of knowledge of Iceland and all our stops on our 10 hrs ! Tour. I would highly recommend adding the Sky Lagoon to the end of the excursion as it was great for unwinding after a long day of walking and climbing.
Monika provided an awesome experience by sharing her knowledge along the drive, through handouts, and talking at each stop! We lucked out with the weather, so it was a gorgeous day with an equally gorgeous drive and a couple bonus stops. Even though there is not a ton of walking milage wise, it doesn't feel like you spent most of the day in a car. For a short trip I feel like I got to experience a lot of what makes Iceland special.
Amazing tour! Our guide Roman took us to beautiful sites all along the south coast. The itinerary was changed order wise and I think we hit all the stops at the best time! We got back to Reykjavik at around 7:30 so a bit longer than expected. I was also picked up by the wrong bus in the morning which was a bit stressful. Obviously partly my mistake, but would have been nice if my ticket was checked to confirm my name.
