Itinerary
A town famous for the greenhouses and the “Hot River” of Reykjadalur, sitting in a rift valley between the two continental plates of Eurasia and America.
Selfoss is the largest town in South Iceland
The name of the town comes from caves near the river.
Once you reach the town ,you are getting closer to your adventure.
You’ll be able to experience this waterfall right up close as it crashes off the side of the Eyjafjallajokull volcano from a height of 60 meters. During summer months you will be able to walk behind the waterfall.
A hidden waterfall, which most visitors miss. We’ll tell you where to find it!
Remember to ask your guide all about the colossal eruption here back in 2010, which made Iceland famous all around the world!
Skogafoss is one of the most iconic waterfalls in the world, and even featured in “Game of Thrones”. Because of its south-facing position, it is often covered in rainbows as the 60-meter cascade of water produces a lot of spray! Skogafoss is one of the most popular sights in the country and it’s possible to climb to the top of the falls to see it from there too.
Solheimajokull is part of one of the largest glaciers in the country, Myrdalsjokull. In the summer months (April to October), you can book an optional extra on this tour to take a glacier hike, with a guide and all the necessary safety equipment provided.
The stone sea arches of Dyrholaey can also be seen in the distance from Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach
It is now time to visit the world-famous black sand beach at Reynisfjara, where beautifully-shaped basalt columns hug the cliffs, volcanic sands are pounded by powerful Atlantic waves and the starkly shaped sea stacks of the Reynisdrangar tower just offshore.

Wonderful tour. We hit all the highlights. Phillip was an excellent guide. There was a vehicle that pulled out in front of us. Phillips driving skills saved us from a very serious accident. Highly recommend the tour and the guide, Phillip.
Very nice experience, with good weather and nice guide who gave us a lot information to know more about Iceland.
Lori was excellent, communicated what was happening and giving insights with clarity and humour. Glacier walk a highlight, as was amphibian lagoon tour. Even the squall at the black beach was fun! We had water in clouds, in fog, in rain, vertical and horizontal, waterfalls, lagoons, glaciers and icebergs. And the sea. And we drank from streams and glacier melt. Fabulous.
Waltre was dedicated to make our experience optimal. It was a great tour.
All sites included were great, but the waterfall that you could walk behind was spectacular- a once in a lifetime experience. Our tour guide was wonderful and made the so much more fun- The Bus President!!
This was such a great tour! Our guide Walter was truly amazing. He told us so much about Iceland along the route in a humorous and informative way. The views were amazing! The group was small also which was nice. It was a long day but worth every minute. We came in on a cruise ship and this tour was so much better than the tours they were offering through the ship. Highly recommend!
Thanks for trusting us with your adventure!

Thank you! We’re glad you loved the guide!
Valther our driver and host was amazing. He gave us a great tour and was very entertaining.
So glad you enjoyed the tour!
We had an excellent guide who took us to see all the wonder sites of the south coast. We got to see exhilarating waterfalls and black sand beaches and puffins. We had a wonderful time
Thank you! We’re glad you loved the guide!
Fantastic excursion to see Southern Iceland in 1 day. Amazing waterfalls and black sand beaches. Saw puffins twice and it wasn’t even on the itinerary. Driver gave just the right amount of time at each stop. Almost all of them had bathrooms. 19 passenger van so a nice small group. Driver was very educated and answered any random questions we had. He also had a great curated playlist that would relate to a topic he had just discussed. Definitely has to be one of the best tours to see Vik and the surrounding areas.
Thanks for the wonderful feedback!
