Wonderful and recommend
It was wonderful Slavian was a wonderful guide Very knowledgeable If I had the time I would have taken all their tours. Pity I haven’t discovered them before to be able to use their tours outside Sofia too. It is the first time I walked with free tours that are professional and licensed!!

Highly recommended! A very relaxed, well paced, super informative tour of Sofia. Our guide Dessi was amazing on all levels! Where possible book directly with 365 as all other operators charge them a significant and unnecessary fee 👌🏼

Was ok could be better
Overall it was a nice tour and the guide was very knowledgable but he also sped through the tour without patiently answering questions. He was overly confident and should have warned us that the thermal waters he encouraged us to drink could also be harmful as my wife got sick as a result of that.

Great tour for your first few hours in Sofia
A great quick overview of the city… perfect activity for one's first day in Sofia. (The tour doesn't enter any buildings, so you'll want to go back to some of these spots.) Our guide did a great job interweaving discussion of the sites with overall Bulgarian history. He was also very honest and open in talking about his experiences of growing up and living in Bulgaria. A friend had recommended this tour, and she was totally right to. I'll be back in Sofia soon and will plan to do their Communist Walking Tour. The organization that runs this tour is also related to the Gifted Sofia gallery/store, which was our favorite source for cool souvenirs. (Note there was no pressure at all to shop or to tip, though we did both.)
