Smith Tower Observatory Admission Ticket

Great 360 degree views of Seattle and surrounding areas. Staff were friendly and helpful. Easy to book tickets in advance.

The observation deck provides a striking view on all sides of the waterfront and downtown Seattle. Despite some overcast, we managed a glimpse of Mt. Rainier. We enjoyed a cocktail in the rooftop bar and then took our time to take the self-guided tour of the ground floor museum.

A fun experience. Cocktails were well made. I had the Espresso Martini. I like the edamame, well seasoned and tender. The view was great and Mount Rainier was gracious and made a nice appearance.

Booking 2 adult tickets on Viator was cheaper than buying online or in person at Smith Tower. The original west coast "skyscraper" is a must see when in Seattle!

For the price of admission, you get a self guided tour through some interactive exhibits chronicling the history of Smith Tower, a ride in a vintage elevator with an elevator operator who is full of trivia, and access to the bar at the top of the tower, where you can experience some great views of the surrounding area. We have been to the top of the Space Needle many times, and it was neat to experience a completely different view of the city. We visited early in the afternoon on a rainy day, so it was not at all crowded. We went outside and took in the views, then spent an enjoyable afternoon with drinks and appetizers in the Observatory bar. The staff was attentive and friendly, the drinks were good, and we very much enjoyed the swanky lounge vibe.

Not worth the money, views are somewhat nice but lack of communication from elevator operator & disorganization by the front desk accompanied by lame “museum” walk-thru made this second rate at best.

Fun and interesting history. Get immersed in the architecture and era of the early 1900s as soon as you enter the building and have an elevator attendant bring you to the top of the building.

Fabulous evening at Smith Tower! Loved the small displays with information before we were escorted up in one of the original lifts to the top floor. Great, slightly vertiginous, walk around the outside with amazing views before enjoying a drink and some dim sum. Great historical skyscraper!!

This is a great tour, and as a Seattle resident, I feel like you don’t hear about this one nearly as much as others such as the Underground Tour. But this is a great one - highly recommend it to see very cool architecture, learn city history, and go to a great observation deck and Observatory Bar up on the 35th floor. The tour guide we had (Spencer) was fabulous and we learned a lot and got fantastic views of the city.

Seeing the sunset at Smith Tower was a beautiful way to end the day. The light playing off the water surrounded by ferrys and other boats was picture perfect. The menu promoted local distilleries and played of the prohibition era. Ask the elevator attendant about any living US President. He is a bank of knowledge!
