Great tour!
We went on a pristine sistine tour with Laura. (I think that was her name). She was fantastic. She had a great sense of humour as well as enormous knowledge of the artwork and the history and a love of Raphael. I would recommend that tour to anyone, and she was really good for people who had quite a lot of knowledge and so appreciated her special expertise.

Vatican museums and Sistine chapel tour
Our tour guide, Roberta, was so knowledgeable and fun to be with. Her knowledge and information made the tour of the Vatican and Sistine Chapel so much more enjoyable.

Very bad
Despite buying skip-the-line tickets we had to queue for two hours in torrential rain

Cordiali saluti Gray Line I Love Rome

Fantastic Group Tour
We had a wonderful experience on this small group tour. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable. Thank you, Roberta, for an amazing tour!

Challenging adventure.
I love the coverage of everything we wanted to see. The guide was thorough and pleasant. She did a great job maneuvering through a large crowd of visitors. I'm 75 and hearing impaired. When I told her, the guide got me a better hearing device than what was handed out originally, but I still could not make out very much of her descriptions. My wife said she was terrific. My suggestion is to have over-the-ear muff-type headphones available for the hearing impaired. I also carried a portable small stool which I used frequently. This helped me to navigate the long tour. Unfortunately, it did not help with the hundreds of steps on staircases, both up and down. I made it but would not recommend the tour to anyone who is not able to navigate steps well. Bottom line, we're glad we took the tour. Kudos to our guide.

Roberta was an excellent guide
Roberta was a very intelligent interesting guide. She taught us about the Vatican museums with great knowledge and stories. She took us to the Sistine Chapel with such a thorough explanation of the scenes on the ceiling and wall. She then took us out to the front of St. Peter’s basilica where the pope was speaking and explained the architecture and sculpture. Roberta was phenomenal.

Love free pick up
It was convenient, the tour picked me up at my hotel 15 mins before the tour started. Got only 6 people in my group whereas other tours got more than 15 people. The tour guide, Roberta, did a good job. She prepared pictures with explanation for the chapel while other tours didn’t have ones. Recommended.

Excellent!! Would highly recommend!!!
Fabio was an amazing tour guide! He was incredibly knowledgeable in the art and history of the Vatican/St. Peter’s Basilica. His English was easy to understand and he connected the history/facts together throughout our tour to help us remember them. He was extremely kind, keeping us in the shade as much as possible and offering us frequent breaks. He even made an effort to remember our first names, which added a nice personal touch to our small group tour. He helped make our experience more memorable and we would definitely book with I Love Rome tours again!

Fabio = tour guide superstar! 🌟 His deep knowledge of Vatican art and history, combined with his easy-to-understand English, made the whole journey unforgettable. Plus, his shade-seeking skills and breaks were basically lifesavers under that Roman sun! ☀️ Remembering everyone’s names? Now that’s next-level personal touch. We’re so thrilled your local guide helped make your tour truly special, and can’t wait to welcome you back with I Love Rome Tours again soon! 🙌🇮🇹 Regards, Gray Line I ❤️ Rome
