It was so worth having a personal guide to walk us through all the fine details of this experience. Francesca (not sure if I had the spelling correct) covered every detail and was patient with our questions.
Thanks! We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour with us at Caracalla baths :)
First, don’t miss this church and all of its historic layers. Second, get a guide otherwise you will miss learning all of the details that make it so incredible. Third, our tour guide from Touriks was outstanding.
Thank you so much, we are glad to hear that you enjoyed our St. Clement's Basilica guided tour!
For church lovers in Rome, this tour should be the first thing they do! I gained so much new information from our excellent guide, Francesca. All the churches I visited after the tour were more meaningful because of what I learned on this tour. Excellent!

Your website explains it perfectly. It’s tight in places, and it’s deep. Loved st. Clemente history.
Thank you, we are glad to hear that you enjoyed our St. Clement's basilica tour :)
Interesting perspective on the lower levels beneath Rome. Chance to hear about snd view how people lived centuries ago. I think other people I know were able to go deeper than our guide offered.
We appreciate hearing that you enjoyed our St. Clement's Basilica guided tour!
I did this tour 7 years ago and it was so amazing that I wanted to experience it again with family. I had to change our entire line up of scheduled tours because of Republic Day on June 2. Many government sites are shut down. I had changed the date of this tour on TripAdvisor. But TripAdvisor did not notify me that tours were not being held on the new date. Fortunately I received a confirmation text regarding our original date from Touriks. I explained re the change. Touriks found someone to give us a private tour of St Clement’s. I give Touriks 10 stars and TripAdvisor 1 star.
Thank you for your kind feedback, we are glad that the tour has worked out in the end. We look forward to seeing you again next time in Rome!
Excellent tour. We booked a private tour because we anticipated having questions. Ernesto was very knowledgeable. We were most interested in the Mithras temple.
Our guide Erneste(sp) was informative and engaging. The building was fascinating and he brought it to life with a deep understanding of his subject matter. I am a tourist with a high level of interest and education in history and he had all the answers to my questions. The five periods of history represented here each tell a different story of the past and the people who lives and worshipped at this site. One of the best tours of my trip to Rome.
I Highly recommend this tour. While in Rome, do not miss this opportunity to see and experience this unique trip into the distant past.
Wonderful tour guide!!!! Knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. I would say the best guide we have ever had! The Basilica San Clemente is a must see when visiting Rome
Thank you for your kind words! We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your tour of the St. Clement's Basilica!
