Description
Journey through New Zealand's natural wonderland on a 7-day road trip through the South Island. Have the chance to explore some of the best spots in Queenstown, the adventure capital! Whether thats Jumping out of a plane, zipling through the trees or relaxing in the city centre with a hot cocoa. Head to Franz Josef to hike the Glacier or visit an iconic, up-close Kiwi in the Wildlife Centre. cruise through the beautiful Milford Sound and discover the spectacular Tekapo through some of its most famous lakes and hikes, then spend the evening relaxing in the Tekapo Hot Springs.

The most amazing 10/10 trip
10/10 experience. It was so much fun and I made so many amazing friends that i’m excited to stay in contact with. The tour hit all the hot spots for adventure, fun, photos, food and more and really showed me how amazing the scenery and places are in New Zealand. This is all thanks to our amazing guide Telli. Telli is the perfect person for the job and made sure everyone had the best possible time. He was great for banter and fun which truly made the days, nights and bus trips so fun and enjoyable while still having the ability to be serious and focused when needed to ensure the trip ran smoothly. The group all connected well and I was super sad to leave them all at the end. Booking the tour was the best decision ever as it has given me life long memories. It is best for everyone who wants to be social, do things and have fun. The group size was perfect as it wasn’t too big meaning you got the chance to know everyone and hear about everyone’s cool stories about life both good and bad. Once again thank you Telli you’re the absolute best.

Incredible week with super awesome and fun people!!!!
Absolutely had the best week with such amazing people. Everyone clicked really well really quickly and I think that has a lot to do with Telli our awesome guide. He brought such good energy and humour to the group it made it so easy to feel comfortable and have so so much fun. The places we visited were so incredible I can’t even describe! We also got a chance to meet some locals which was super cool! Thanks😆

best trip great people and places
as i was travelling solo i was worried about meeting people but i had nothing to worry about firstly our tour guide Telli made it such a welcoming and inclusive environment he honestly went above and beyond in making every moment interesting and special with random fun facts and funny one liners getting everyone laughing there was never a dull moment. he sets the bar high for tour guides. only wish is that i booked a longer tour!! only so much you can see in 7 days however we made those 7 days count. was always something interesting on offer for everyone. franz Joseph, helli hike was my highlight definitely worth the money, once in a lifetime experience for me.

Southern Voyager Fun Times
The tour was extremely fun and engaging the whole time. Our tour guide, Siobhan was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and genuinely fun to be around. There was loads of considerations and back ups for rainy days and the activities were diverse and covered heaps of different interests

Intimate and insightful
From the moment the bus turned up I had a feeling it was going to be a memorable experience. Siobhan our guide was a superstar making every part of the the tour smooth and seamless! Her knowledge and attitude towards the tour was above and beyond with culture and nature beautifully explained along the way!

South Island
Had an amazing experience on the 7 day Wild Kiwi South Island Premium Tour! The itinerary was incredible, the scenery was beautiful, and our guide Siobhan was friendly, knowledgeable and made the whole trip so much fun! Highly recommend, especially for solo travellers!

An Incredible Trip
An amazing experience of the South Island that I’ll never forget. Despite some shocking weather, spirits were high due to the company of other fellow travellers but mostly thanks to our guide Telli. He was hilarious, incredibly knowledgeable, adventurous, and couldn’t do enough for any of us. The opportunity for activities were detailed for us and each day was clearly explained. This was my first group tour with Wild Kiwi but it won’t be my last. Thank you for an incredible trip.

Would highly recommend Wild Kiwi tours-especially for solo travellers! 10/10 experience and amazing tour guides (shoutout Telli). All you need to worry about is booking the tour and everything else is sorted for you- just tell your tour guide which add ons you want to do and pay as you go! Will be coming back to do North Island with Wild Kiwi 🙌🏼
