Description

Explore Florence's hills on a small-group electric golf cart tour, along exclusive routes that reveal breathtaking panoramic views and a quieter, more authentic side of the city. Following in the footsteps of Galileo Galilei, the experience blends art, nature and history, leaving the busy center behind. Departing from Piazzale Vittorio Veneto and crossing the San Frediano district, you pass the ancient city walls, Porta Romana and Villa del Poggio Imperiale, then climb to the olive groves of Arcetri, where Galileo once lived. The route reaches Piazzale Michelangelo, the city's most celebrated viewpoint, and the Basilica of San Miniato al Monte, before returning across the Arno over Ponte Santa Trinita, with its beautiful view of the Ponte Vecchio. Accompanied by a local driver and a high-quality audio guide, the tour comes alive with stories of the Medici family and Florence's scientific heritage. Photo stops and short walks let you fully enjoy the scenery.

Left us stranded awful experience

Terrible! We booked tour online a few hrs before, and we're given a hotel address to meet. We arrived early, then they called with different address a 30 minute walk away. They said theyd wait. One of our guests is disabled, so we rushed as fast as we could calling the company in between to tell them we were coming. We arrived and talked to driver. He then driver drove away and let the 2 other passengers yell at us as they left us on the corner. Awful experience. Customer service was to call us to remedy the situation but never did. We called 8x and they didn't answer. So very rude!!!

Must do !

The tour traveled to amazing sites that we would not have otherwise seen. It really provided a side of Florence that should not be missed. Our tour guided, Akram was exceptional! He took us to the best spots, took amazing pictures and tailored the tour to meet our interests. This is a must do and if you are lucky enough to get Akram - enjoy!

Florence at its best.

It was nice having a private tour of Florence. Ian was awesome. We found out so many facts about Florence. We stopped at key locations and had a photo shot opportunity. We would recommend this tour, especially nice with the hot weather in the area, without having to walk.
