With the help of our instructors you will cook typical Colombian Food. We teach you traditional cooking methods with very fresh ingredients and a nice presentation. You will be able to cook these dishes at home and we will give you some tips on how do substitute difficult to find ingredients.

This was the best activity we did in Cartagena. We did this with my wife, two young kids and I. Mario was incredibly welcoming and made the kids feel so confident in what they were learning. They are excited to get back home and try what they have learned. Thank you Mario and team!!

Owar and his assistant made this cooking class an absolute highlight of our time in Cartagena. The kitchen is set inside a gorgeous historic building in the walled city — a beautiful and atmospheric space to spend an afternoon. After a month traveling through Colombia, we’ve tried a lot of food, but this class introduced us to dishes that were still completely new to us. The food preparation was thorough and well-paced, with clear instructions that made every step feel approachable. Owar’s warm personality and his assistant’s attentiveness kept the whole experience fun and engaging. We LOVED the dessert - a definite highlight of an already wonderful meal. We left excited to recreate everything at home for our friends and family. If you’re looking for a hands-on, authentic culinary experience in Cartagena, this is it. Highly recommend! Well run cooking school in a new modern building in the old city. They paid exceptional attention to the allergy needs of the guests, the facility was super clean, the chefs are fantastic and all the helpers made for a smooth experience. We loved what we cooked!

Alvaro and his team were wonderful! We learned so much about Colombian cuisine and had fun as a family. The kitchen was clean, the lesson organized and the menu DELICIOUS! They were able to accommodate our dietary needs. We were thrilled!

Such a great experience! Was delicious, fun and informative—especially if you want to learn traditional foods but with a more modern flare. Highly recommend the market tour as well, it would have been very intimidating to go as 2 women alone, but chef gave us a tour and explained all the various areas of the market and foods native to Colombia.
