La Candelaria, a must-see in Lima
An unforgettable encounter with the roots and folklore of Peru, it was a very good option for this trip, we bought a ticket that included dinner and a show, very well located next to the stage, we were able to enjoy the enormous energy of the dancers from the different groups, excellent choreography, and a musical ensemble that accompanied each act very well, all with live music, excellent!!! They even got us up to dance representing our country, it was unforgettable!

Dancing night
Very entertaining evening.
Even if you are not ready to show off on the dancing ring, watching the others is fun.

If you want to know the local culture..this is place!!
Centro Cultural La Candelaria is an absolutely recommended place if your intention is to know the different Peruvian dances, in a relaxed framework. It is very visited by Peruvian families who get to know Lima or celebrate birthdays, which makes it much more interesting as it allows to interact with the local public. With an excellent body of dancers who energize with their picturesque costumes, professionalism, and sympathy, added to a neat orchestra that musicalizes the ballet but also makes all the audience dance and a great animator, who sets the pulse of the show in the best way, La Candelaria is a must to have a great time. As if that were not enough you can taste the already renowned Peruvian cuisine at medical prices or at least taste the good pisco that the house offers.

Truly Enjoyable
We arrived at the theatre too early. You should arrive after 8 for the evening performance. The food was so-so, but the performers and MC were fantastic. This was a show that should not be missed. It is a full measure of Peruvian culture and dance. There were many opportunities as well to get up and dance. Overall, it was a truly memorable experience and if you have the chance to see it you should surely go.

A Celebration of Peruvian Culture
Our group of 28 had an amazing time at La Candelaria! The show was a vibrant celebration of Peruvian culture, featuring traditional dances from all over the country. The energy was incredible, and the costumes were absolutely stunning.
The MC kept the night lively and fun, and we loved how interactive the experience was—there were even moments when the audience got to participate! With our VIP tickets, we enjoyed a welcome Pisco Sour and a special drink for the kids.
The attention from the staff was great, the atmosphere was festive, and the location is very accessible. This was a true highlight of our trip. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lima!
