Enjoy the classic Skagway tour! Our tour will take you down Broadway, Skagway's historic main street, and we'll point out various points of interest and photo stops. As we leave Skagway, we'll climb over 3,500 feet in elevation up to the summit, where Gold Rushers had to hand-carry all their gear on their way into Canada - except you'll do it from a heated bus. Our tour will pick up all guests and get you back in time for your ship. Sights along the way: - Brackets Toll road - Pitchfork Falls - Bridal Veil Falls - Moore Bridge Overlook - Welcome to Alaska sign - Travel to the White Pass Summit - International Falls - Tormented Valley - Skagway town overlook - Drop off in town or at your ship Our tour will have 5 to 6 photo stops along the route and we will slow down for the others. Time at stops may vary and are weather dependent. Tour is 2.5 hours in length.

Awesome experience
Very informative and historic, driver made several stops for photographs and explained no mans land and why Skagway is so safe

Learn more about the trails and requirements for the Yukon gold miners
Our guide did a great job. Altho we experienced a great amount of fog on our way up, it broke once we started down from the summit and we were able to see more and enjoy our tour. Our guide provided written resources to review while he spoke about the gold miners’ required supplies before they were allowed to climb the mtns to the Yukon. He also provided a map which showed the 2 trails that were used by these hard rock prospectors.

Highly recommended in Skagway!
We had a blast with this Skagway shore excursion. Multiple stops as part of the tour. Meeting point was at the port, very convenient. Cemetery visit with a short hike to a waterfalls was very nice. The bus trip to Yukon is very scenic with awesome views, lots of photo opportunities. The story about the gold rush was very interesting. Our driver shared lots of stories, she is very nice and knowledgeable, very pleasant and chill shore excursion. Lots of time to shop in town after the tour. Highly recommended!

An Excellent Tour
This was an excellent tour. Len, Skagway Tours, was our guide. We were fortunate having a clear, sunny date. We did the White Pass trip once before, but it was on the train. Going in a van was much better. The van goes up the Klondike Highway which is on the opposite side of the valley from where the train goes. We could see the train tracks most of the way. Being in a van allowed us to make about five tour stops, something that isn’t done on the train. The White Pass train trip gets all the press, but I think the van trip is much better. Plus, the train trip has gotten quite expensive. About $250/person. The van was $76/person.

Drake is Awesome
This tour is a condensed version of the area tour. The bus held about a 12 or more of us. Better than a huge bus. Pretty straight drive up to the border and back. Drake was our tour guide/ driver. He performed and very jovial and enthusiastic interpretation of the area and it's history. We enjoyed his humor and story telling. Simultaneously, he made sure we're taken care of and transported safely down the mountain. We were 100% satisfied.

Loved the tour and guide!
I loved how knowledgeable our tour guide was about the history. Plus she was funny, friendly, and very helpful. My favorite thing is that we were able to get out and take pics or see better views than just staying on the bus. Those taking the train don't have that option.
