We saw lots of monkeys, two manatees, five gators, lots of birds, blue fish, and more! We booked through a third party and they were really nice and carried our kayaks to the launch pad. We were really happy we ended up booking and would definitely do this experience again.
We had an amazing experience. We saw lots of wildlife as well as a lot of giggling trying to steer a kayak. Would highly recommend this place to everyone.
I had a great experience, nick checked in with me prior to my timed activity and confirmed to direct me from there. He was nice and made everything go smooth. Launched me and my paddleboard in for me, would definitely do it again
Our family had a fantastic time! We saw so much wildlife including: otters, alligators, fish, a manatee, birds, turtles and a monkey! It was very peaceful. We highly recommend!
We have lived in Florida for 25 years, gone to countless springs and kayak tours but this was our first time attempting to find the monkeys of silver springs. We brought family who was visiting- three adults, 2 teens and one 9 year old. We did the clear tandem kayaks. Great service - Danny showed us the map and landmarks to make the loop, made sure we had life jackets and helped us launch on the ramp. Super friendly and knowledgable. The narrow run was beautiful, spring fed and clear, lots of birds and fish but we didn’t see any monkeys. We turned into the wider river part - other kayaks had just seen a manatee there but we didn’t see it. We did see the beatiful blue spring heads and a few small gators. Do not swim here, yall. My husband finally followed one of the glass bottom boats into an inlet on the far side of the river and there they were. A huge pack of monkeys roaming the bank and swinging in trees. It was magical. I’ve been on so many wild Florida adventures - I never expected to experience this magic again after all these years. Stay wild, Florida 🐒
It was great had to wait on state park to lets on river due to thunderstorms. We went out when was safe but then on way back did get caught in river w/ thunderstorms & it was bad trying to get back river in kayak w/ wind 0 visibility took on water. When got back nobody was there to help pull us in but it was still a fun experience lil scary as the kayak did get blown into an alligator thank goodness it was little! lol saw manatee and family !
Beautiful nature, but a tiring walk. The feeding structure is deficient, and it is worth taking food for children.
I booked a tour guide, paid $180 for nothing..wish I would've known we wasn't going to have anybody to guide us or an actual tour would've paid for a regular experience, cool experience overall
Kayaks were perfect. All in order, paddles, life jackets. There is no shuttle service, only negative.
Well arranged! The morning before the meeting we received an extra app with an indication of where exactly we could find them (there are several Kayak providers there. We were kindly received by Don. He gave a clear explanation of the route. The material was good. Very much enjoyed our trip in Silver Springs!! Really a must do when you are in Florida.
