- Kayak Weight Capacity - The maximum weight capacity for these tandem ( 2 people ) car kayaks is 410 pounds No single person can weigh more than 225. These kayak will not float you if you exceed the weight limit. We also offer paddle boards and solo (non clear) kayaks for this adventure. If someone in your group does not fit the weight capacity, no worries. We offer an option for non clear solo sit on top kayaks with a weight capacity of 300 pounds and non clear sit on top tandem kayaks with a weight capacity of 500 pounds, and paddle boards 250 pounds.le

Had a great time with our guide Steve Tyndall, very informative of the river, history and wildlife. Took time to explain things and time to just float along and enjoy the scenery without being rushed along. Worth going on to learn about the river before doing self guide
Guide was knowledgeable, and very nice. It just seemed like a lot of money for the experience. The other kayak tour at the park was even more expensive. This one is the least expensive of the two.
Very good guide, he knew where to look for the animals. We saw alligators, all kind of birds, monkeys and even a manatee. Can highly recommend this tour with our guide Chris!
Steve is the best, he showed us all the animals and fish and birds and told us all the history of this place. Highly recommended.

Chris was our tour guide he was a lot of fun and made sure we saw great sights and animals. We saw lots of fish, turtles, gators, manatees, otters and even monkeys. The water was crystal clear.

We had a fantastic time on this Silver Spring tour with Kayaking Florida. Our guide, Steve, was a wealth of information, fun and gave us plenty of time to take in all the sites. We saw the manatees, rhesus monkeys, anlligators, turtles and many birds and fish species. Highly recommend this tour!
