Absolutely worth every penny! Dave was an outstanding guide whose knowledge of the area, street art, and the artists themselves was truly exceptional. What made the tour even more special was his first-hand experience and personal connections with some of the artists, giving us fascinating insights that you simply wouldn't get elsewhere. By the end of the tour, I felt thoroughly educated and had gained a whole new appreciation for street art and the stories behind it. It was amazing to see some of my favourite artists' work up close, including Banksy, Shepard Fairey, and Invader, while learning about the history, techniques, and messages behind the pieces. Dave's passion and enthusiasm were infectious, and he brought the artwork and the local area to life. This was an absolutely amazing tour! It was just over three hours, but it was very well paced. Dave was completely captivating, and we covered areas that seemed to be well off the beaten tourist track. ​The level of Dave’s knowledge and enthusiasm on the subject was incredible, and his generosity with information and resources—both during and after the tour—was astounding. He notices the tiniest details and spots artwork where many others would not. ​As he explained on the tour, street art is constantly changing, so new pieces are always popping up, and Dave’s excitement about that is genuinely palpable. I learned so much, would gladly do it again, and will continue researching this art style. ​Dave is a genuine treasure sharing his knowledge of a much-misunderstood genre. Thank you so much!

The recommendation I want to give on Trip Advisor is that this is THE trip to go on. Whatever your level of interest, this tour will be amazing. I've wandered around Brick Lane and Shoreditch many, many times bought a few pieces from galleries and thought I knew a bit, I now know I've barely scratched the surface of this fascinating interconnected world. Highlight for me was understanding how these artists collaborate and regenerate almost continuously. Best tip I got and want to pass on is to look down AND up whenever you are in a space where street art lurks. Our guide, David was amazingly knowledgeable and happy to share his insights and personal connections with some of the superheros in this world. Amazing, I'm going to book a private tour so I can learn more.

What an extraordinary experience being led around the streets of London by Dave and being introduced to the most amazing street art. Dave's enthusiasm is highly infectious, he is passionate and incredibly knowledgeable and clearly delights in sharing his passion with the group. The tour was entertaining, informative, and a peek into another world beyond the usual tourist sights. We were also lucky enough to meet three of the street artists en route. Highly recommended for all ages, and if you think a street art tour is not for you, think again, and book it!

Dave was great - very connected and informed with the street art community. We saw things that were new to him from this week, plus some of his old favorites. He spoke to the various media and styles that are always evolving with the dynamic street art scene - and he showed us all those different things too. Could not recommend this tour any more highly. Fascinating tour, with lots of great street art and tons of interesting information, historical context, and insights into London street art culture from the perfectly knowledgeable tour guide. A fabulous walk showcasing some amazing artwork and gaining an understanding into the work of the artists, the way they interconnect and collaborate. Amazingly we also met some of the artists themselves and heard more about how they work. Dave was so knowledgeable and answered questions on a whole range of artists, their relevance to contemporary culture and quirks of the industry. Thank you!

My 17 year old son and I did the tour with Dave and thoroughly enjoyed it. It opened my eyes to a whole world of art that I had no knowledge of at all and he shared his knowledge with passion and enthusiasm. I had the pleasure of taking the Shoreditch Street Art Tour with Dave as the guide. We started near Spitalfields Market and ended at the Art Hotel. The distance was comfortable enough to walk in the time allotted and allowed for viewing plenty of art in the process. Dave’s knowledge and excitement in regards to the street art he shows us along the tour are palpable, and you get so much insider info from his years of being in the scene and establishing connections with the artists that you truly feel like you’re getting a unique experience that not many guides could provide. Even after 10 years of living in London it gave me the opportunity to explore the city under a new light and I will keenly be recommending the tour to all my friends who visit, just amazing!

We had an amazing tour with Dave. The tour exceeded our expectations. We did the tour as a group of four that included my parents who are in their 70s. Even though it was walking tour, there were opportunities to sit on benches or to go at our own pace, so it’s definitely accessible to all ages. Dave had extensive knowledge and background on street art and graffiti and knows many of the artists personally which allowed us an inside look at the artists. This is such a unique experience and off the beaten path. It offers a different view of artwork! Highly recommend!!
