Sharm El Sheikh Cairo Day Trip to Pyramids Sphinx and GEM by Bus

Description

Turn your Red Sea holiday into a journey through ancient Egypt on this full-day group trip from Sharm El Sheikh to Cairo. After an early hotel pickup, relax on a comfortable air-conditioned bus as you cross the Sinai Peninsula. At the Giza Plateau, your Egyptologist guide leads the group around the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the last surviving Wonder of the Ancient World, and the Pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure. Take the classic panoramic photo, then meet the Great Sphinx and visit the Valley Temple. After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum, the world’s largest museum dedicated to a single civilization. Climb the Grand Staircase lined with royal statues and see Tutankhamun’s complete treasures, including his golden mask. In the evening, return by bus to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh. A long day, but the best-value way to see Cairo’s greatest highlights during your beach holiday.
