Fascinating look into the future
This English-language tech tour was absolutely brilliant and the perfect contrast to the classic sightseeing program! Our guide Derek led us fantastically through the day and showed us ultra-modern Shanghai. The selection of stops was super exciting: From the gigantic Shanghai Tower to innovative electric cars to impressive robots, everything was included. The absolute highlight of the tour, however, was the ride in the self-driving taxi – an unforgettable experience that shows what the future looks like!
Anyone who wants to experience the technological side of this metropolis up close should definitely book this tour. Absolute recommendation!

Tech day out
Derek was obliging and accommodated our arrangements, he was positive, flexible, very informative, we enjoyed his company, in driverless, taxi, best place for lunch, and the funny Humanoid Robots😄👍

A must do activity while...
A must do activity while in Shanghai. Both my wife and I found it educational and entertaining. I realise a lot of the tour is down to the guide and our guide (Eric) was superb, very funny and spoke perfect English.

Tour in Portuguese or Spanish
It was great the guide speaks Portuguese and that was a pleasant surprise. We’ve learned a lot about chineses technologies at car industry and robotics.

Great tour. Worth paying extra to visit floor 125 of the tower
Excellent tour. Knowledgeable guide and experienced stuff for the very first time.
If i were to offer a pointer, it would be to include a trip to the 'top' and the very top, of the Shanghai tower. Otherwise, all great.

Great trip

An engaging and memorable afternoon…
Amy our guide was great and a pleasure to be with for our half day trip… we saw a lot in our only afternoon free on our business trip and in a way that was far more engaging than if we’d done them alone.

Very unique experience!

Not High Technology in Shanghi
Well first off the guide is great and did her best but had little to work with…. I would estimate that 50% of this tour is traveling from one location to another… it was not a high tech anything. It was simply an tour guide taking us to a EV public showroom in Shanghi tower, then walking and waiting for a train (30 min) then waiting for the driverless car for (30 min) then going another (30 minutes) to see a dancing robot…. We actually skipped the robot since it’s not even worth the 1 hour) travel time.

The robot show is actually one of the highlights for many guests, so it’s a bit of a pity it was skipped before experiencing it.
