Itinerary
Monastery Sevanavank
60 min
Mariam, the daughter of King Ashot I, promised to build 30 churches in honour of her late husband. She kept her promise throughout her life. One of them, Sevanavank, was built in 874. Founded in the 4th century, Sevanavank experienced its development in the 9th century. Apart from the two standing churches, the unique khachkar of the 17th century, with its many biblical scenes, deserves special attention. The name of the capital, Yerevan, was recorded for the first time on the dome of Sevanavank.
Lake Sevan
60 min
The first place we will visit is Lake Sevan, the beauty of Armenia. Being 1900 meters above sea level, Sevan is the second-highest lake in the world with a freshwater supply. Sevan, of volcanic origin, is surrounded by mountain ranges divided into two parts and one large peninsula. Lake Sevan enjoys great popularity among tourists for both active and passive recreation. With a maximum depth of 83 meters, Sevan is the only one of the three historical Armenian lakes located on the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
Haghartsin Monastery
60 min
Although it is customary in Armenia to use mainly tuff or basalt stones for construction, two types of stones were used for Haghartsin Monastery: travertine and basalt. Built of white stone, this monastery has had its own place in Armenian culture and education since the 10th century. The monastery had been built for about three centuries, in the beautiful valley of the Tavush forests, in the very heart of the forest. Here is also the refectory of the monastery, which is considered an architectural masterpiece. In addition to the actual structures, there is also a royal mausoleum here. By the way, very tasty gata is sold near here.
Goshavank Monastery
60 min
One of the most famous spiritual and educational centers of medieval Armenia is Goshavank, which got its name from the multi-talented clergyman and scientist Mkhitar Gosh. The collection of laws created by him is considered exceptional for its time, and was used in many legislations of the world to this day. The monastery complex consisting of five churches, three chapels, a vestibule, and a refectory, will not leave any curious tourist indifferent. The monastery is located in the Gosh village of the same name. The embroidered khachkar of the 13th century, belonging to master Poghos, deserves special attention.
Lake Parz
60 min
During the guided tour to Ijevan Wine and Brandy Factory, you’ll explore the production halls where fine wines and brandies are crafted from local grape varieties. Learn about the fascinating process — from grape selection and fermentation to aging and bottling. After the tour, enjoy a degustation (tasting) of several signature wines and brandies, paired with light local snacks. You’ll experience the deep aromas, rich flavors, and smooth textures that have made Ijevan a beloved name in Armenia’s wine culture.
Dilijan
20 min
From the vehicle, admire the atmosphere of this historical district, where local craftsmen, art galleries, and cozy cafés recreate the spirit of old Armenia. It’s a picturesque reminder of Dilijan’s past as a favorite retreat for artists and poets.

Overall I would recommend the tour! Our guide Lilit was very knowledgeable and kind, she spoke excellent English. I would point out that the tourist groups are mixed, so the group is divided by language during the visits. The experience at the recommended winery (it takes up almost the entire afternoon), there is the possibility of doing just the tour without the tasting or both at a reasonable price.
Operator response
Thank you for your wonderful feedback and recommendation! We’re glad you enjoyed the winery experience. Thank you for sharing these helpful details, and we hope to welcome you again in Armenia!

A lot of interesting places
We enjoyed the tour! Our guide Vahagan was friendly and helpful in providing us with information about the places we visited and switch between English an Russian. The Ijevan factory tour was very well organized.
The only thing we were disappointed with was the missed pick up in the morning.

My best exprience
I really enjoyed this tour. Our group’s guide was Hasmik and the driver was Artush. Hasmik was incredibly patient, explaining the history of Armenia and telling us about the famous people buried in the churches. I was amazed at how humble the tombs of these distinguished figures were, especially compared to my country where the graves of well‑known personalities are often lavish and covered in gold—which I personally don’t think is right. I truly appreciated the modesty of those tombs. I came alone and thought I might feel lonely, but everyone was so warm and friendly that I felt like I was traveling with my own family. Artush drove very carefully, which made me feel safe enough to relax and even take a nap, despite usually being anxious in cars. I would definitely join this company’s tours again and highly recommend them to others.

Lake, Monasteries and Wine Tour
Tour was fantastic we seemed to arrive at every location before other tour groups which meant sight and pictures were uninterrupted our guide Harut was super knowledgeable about every sight we visited and even gave fun facts about Armenia along the way, he was also quite well versed on global matters and topics which made him a great talk outside of just the info he was giving about the sites we visited. Our driver Edgar was also quite quick and efficient on the roads getting us from each point within the time frame and doing it safety, could definitely recommend the tour especially with these two at the helm.
