Excellent tour from every point of view
The group only included our family (4 adults) and we thus benefited from having the guide Emmanuel all to ourselves. Born in Montreal, he knows every detail, its history, its architecture, the recent evolution of Quebec, and has no trouble adapting perfectly to the profiles of vacationers and their interests. Also very good advice on the best sellers of bagels, poutines, or even on the city's underground network. He manages to highlight, through historical stories, the architecture, or the statues of the city, the complex Franco-British alchemy of Montreal.
Emmanuel is a true pro (he knows how to capture attention, makes sure to answer all questions while keeping an eye on the timing, chooses the best locations to avoid noisy areas, ...) and what's more, he is super nice.
Since we had booked this tour the day after we landed in Montreal, we were able to quickly pick up a few Quebec customs. It was great!

Worth paying the extra for a semi private tour
Very interesting, focused quite a bit on historic buildings and the origins of Montreal whereas a bit more explanation of some of the statues and current social trends, with suggestions of where else to visit afterwards would have made it perfect. Galyna is clearly very knowledgeable and is very friendly. It was also worth laying the extra for a semi private tour

Excellent tour and guide
Daniel was amazing. Great start to our visit to Montreal
This was a great tour. Angie was delightful and very knowledgeable about the history of Montreal. She also gave us lots of tips on what to do and where to eat. She went above and beyond when a surprise rain storm hit! She knew the pefect spot to scurry under cover and continued telling us stories until we could continue. Her love of Montreal was contagious! I highly recommend this tour and definitely do it at the beginning of your trip!!
