Really ssfun, wish it was a bit longer but understandable. Wish i came better prepared for changing clothes.
Prepare to be exhilarated and totally soaked! Once up at the rapids you will enjoy 30/40 minutes of riding the waves with an expert skipper at the wheel. On your return to the dock will definitely need the change of clothing that the operator advises you to bring - we loved it!!
You get wet! What a blast. We sat mid-boat, and every time through the rapids, the waves crashed over us. The briefing before was great - informative and funny. They provided warm fleeces (did not use - August) and spray jackets (did use, but their biggest benefit was for the ride back in the wind of a fast-moving boat while we were soaked. We had all ages, and it was safe and well done!
Great experience. Our guide Lucas was fun. Focus on safety was appreciated. Next time I would come dressed and leave our stuff on the car, especially if you want to choose your seats or sit together in a big group. The bag checkin and changing room was quite hectic.
Must do in Montreal! Went as family with teenagers, no motion sickness. The guides were super friendly and helpful, well organized, and the time in the rapids was one of a kind fantastic. Definitely will get wet. 45 mins to check- in, orientation, change, suit up, and get into boat. 15 mins to rapids, 30 mins in the rapids, which is about 5 runs of the same rapids which is when you get soaked, and 15 mins back. Definitely would do again!
Make sure to pay attention to the directions on where to find the boat and what to bring. Very important. We had a great time.
You will get soaked! My family had the front row and loved every thrilling moment of their ride!
A very beautiful experience that you want to extend! Thanks to our guide Matthieu and also to Jonathan! Clearly an activity to do!
The activity was super fun! Get ready to be totally soaked. Absolutely recommended for visitors to Montreal.
This was a great time. We got very wet but it was very fun. We went on a warm day but it did rain. The only bad part was the rain pelting you in the face hurt because we were going so fast. I would definitely wear the poncho if you usually get cold. The water was warm in August. They have sandals you can borrow; I would wear those if you don’t want your shoes soaking wet.
