Sea Kayaking in Rio de Janeiro

Good afternoon! After our farewell at Galeão, I stayed at RJ to do another great adventure that I always wanted. On Monday at 4:30 a.m. Rafael went to pick me up for a kayak ride on the Bay of Guanabara. And it was fantastic and unforgettable! I could see the sunrise on the beach of Flamengo and float seeing the beaches of Botafogo, da Glória, the Pan de Açúcar, the River Niterói bridge, the Pedra da Gávea, the Moro of the two Brothers, to have coffee on Praia da Urca, see the house of Roberto Carlos, see from afar the Finger of God, have the privilege and fear of feeling the flow from the beginning of the bay, enter the Grotto da Coruja, see the planes pass well and all this with the Christ Redemptor blessing me up there. I am immensely grateful for the professionalism of Rafael who sought to guide me during the three hours of remade and the quiet way he made me see the River I had never seen. I highly recommend this adventure provided by Rio Montanha because the feeling is untold. It's pure ecstasy. Thank you Rafa!!

On December 2, my brother and I took the ocean kayak ride. Sensational trip, guide Rafael extremely polite and fun. We will do more often!

We went on an amazing scuba diving tour of Arraia do Cabo with tour guide Rafael. 10/10 recommend booking this experience for an amazing time. We got professional photos swimming with the sea turtle, eels, and many beautiful fish. The scuba instructors were very experienced and professional, keeping us safe while ensuring an amazing experience! Make sure you ask for Rafael as your guide, we booked him for another tour of Tijuca Rainforest on a previous day and he made both experiences unforgettable and tons of fun!! Book this experience!

The experience is amazing, places you don’t know if you don’t do it with a local guide like Rafa, from when you pick up to when you return to your accommodation you are grateful to him, for how he treats you, for the excursion, the landscapes, everything is exceptional and differential.

Thoroughly enjoyed our kayak tour. With 3 teenage boys, we escaped the heat and crowds and enjoyed 2 hours of paddling seeing all the sites from the water. The kids bonded with left right left right banter on a three man kayak. We even had a swim at a deserted beach. It’s an easy on off on a sandy beach aswell. We all swam again at the end so bring a towel if you like to swim.

The walk was excellent! The guides, André and Cajé, are super experienced and attentive, respected our pace and taught us a lot about the region. Worth every penny!

Cajá and André were very kind and attentive, they told us various stories from Rio. It was a shame it rained but still the route was worth it! I recommend too much and would do it again on another occasion.

Sure Rafael Caja will be your best Guide in Rio de Janeiro. A class of history, geography and local biodiversity. Besides being a very high astral and quiet Kara! After we started (me and my wife) doing the tours with him our passion for Rio de Janeiro increased immensely. For those who like sports, nature and good vibes this is Kara!!
