Scuba Diving Albufeira-Double Dive Trip

Two dive booking - smooth booking and check-in. Lots of staff - equipment was good as I had hired equipment. Boat is large and roomy - we didn’t do a weight check - one of the divers proceeded to have terrible bouyancy and ran through his air very quickly. We all ended coming up the line with the other dive groups. These things happen - but the weak diver should have been passed onto the team with more guides in my opinion for the second dive. A 30 minute dive at a depth of 16 to 18m dive, coming up on 110 bar of air is disappointing for me. (The experienced diver with me decided not to book a second days diving).

From the second we walked into the centre till we left was a great experience. The ladies manning the checkpoint in were friendly and full of life making us feel very welcome and even helped me fill in the forms since I had forgotten my glasses at the hotel. They then passed us on to Fernando who was just brilliant. His enthusiasm and personality made learning a breeze and very enjoyable. His dive knowledge was above and beyond and he made my 15 year old son and me become very confident as we went through the pool session learning the basics - again. We only did a trial in Tenerife 2 years before and compared to Fernando were left eating dust. Day 2 we had to connect all our equipment and test it, then haul it to the boat for the first 2 of 4 dives. All the crew on the boat were great from the captain to all the instructors on board. They relieved any nervousness of the newbies and ensured we were all fully informed about the destination, what to expect etc. Each trainer had 2 learners and we were taken to depth and had to again practice our life saving techniques and then we swam for about 30 minutes admiring absolutely beautiful scenes underwater. The same for the second dive and the 3rd and 4th dives the following day. My son and I are so pumped up and motivated by Fernando and all the crew that we can’t wait to practice these new skills back home and maybe even come back here next holiday to learn more. Today we made 2 boat dives with Easy Divers, the reception at the dive center was warm. After completing the necessary paperwork, the materials were ready and the dive set could be built up. The level of experience was taken into account. This gave my partner, with less diving experience, a familiar feeling. After building up we went to the boat, while sailing to the dive site the briefing was given about the first spot, this was done with humor, but also with a serious note. All in all, this created a relaxed atmosphere. The first dive was done at a leisurely pace, again taking into account the level of experience. After the first dive, a good debrief was held, discussing things that went well and not so well. After the debrief we left for the second dive spot, during the trip the briefing was given, again in a relaxed way, for the second dive, listening carefully to the wishes of the divers. Also the second dive went again at a relaxed pace, and the points from the debrief of the first dive were well taken into account! Overall it was a good and fun diving experience! Unfortunately, visibility was relatively limited, but that is obviously something Easy Divers can't do anything about.

I was diving with Mathias this morning! It was my first cold water dive and I really enjoyed it! Great diving for those who like macro/ nudis :) The crew was really nice & very professional! Thanks to you guys! I would definitely come back to go diving with you on my next visit in Albufeira :)

The booking, welcome, equipment, procedures all were excellent when outside water. In the water it was a different story. This was my first dive after the open water course, I informed of this the dive center and I were diving solo. On the 2 dives I was alone in the water 80% of the dive, unfortunately the visibility was only 2/3 meters and it was very easy to loose contact with other divers, but I thought it was strange. After the dive a fellow client diver told me that I was treated as an autonomous diver and in his +100 dives he never saw anything like this. But I didn’t felt uncomfortable during the dives, It was a boost on my confidence that I could do everything alone but I don’t think this should be like this. I will dive again it this dive center, hopefully for many years to come.

Everyone I encountered at this dive shop was terrific. Friendly, knowledgeable and safety-conscious. I’m taking off a star for worn out rental gear. If you’re bringing your own, it’s a 5-star shop.

One of the best dive bases in the region and the closest to Monte Gordo.It is located in the very marina of Albufeira .great organization of diving from beginning to end .super equipment ,attention to safety,interesting places to dive.the whole team is great and can solve even the most difficult problems.I recommend everyone this base .

Our experience with Easy Divers could not have been better. We were three, all with a certificate, but there were times without diving. Everyone was very attentive and reminded us step by step of the entire procedure before the diving. We visited two reefs with good visibility and great diversity of fauna (including an immense mule!). Thank you very much to the whole staff for the sympathy since the reception, and a special thanks to the guide Matias who accompanied us through the reefs with patience, safety and great attention. We recommend passing by here!
