Savannah Historic District & Islands Private Guided Tour

Bill was friendly, knowledgeable about Savannah and its history, showed us the highlights of the city and pointed out places to visit and dine during our stay.

We have been on tours all over the world and this one with Andy was one of the best. It was outstanding in communication, accommodation and information. We saw places we would never seen on our own and learned so much about the city and its history. Andy was an outstanding guide.

Great tour and a lot of information. Guide was great and we got to see many sights in Savannah and nearby.

Bill went above and beyond. He picked us up at our Hotel, and we headed to Tybee Island. He showed us around, and then we toured the lighthouse. We then toured Fort Pulaski. That was so impressive. Then we headed to Isle of Hope. What a beautiful island. We headed back to Savannah all the while answering any questions we had. Bill was a wealth of knowledge and information. He also gave us ideas for our remaining days. I highly recommend Bill and this tour. Will be passing his information onto friends. Thanks for a great day!

Andy is knowledgeable, friendly, and flexible with the tour. This is a wonderful tour to get a great overview of both Tybee Island and Historic Savannah. We covered lots of ground comfortably. We were able to walk Tybee Pier, go Bonaventure cemetery, visit St. John the Baptist Catholic Cathedral, and most of the historic downtown squares and old homes of Savannah. This tour is a great overview of what makes Tybee Island and Savannah special and unique. Highly recommend this tour.

Great historical overview. Andy was well versed in the areas history and geography. He was quite entertaining and told great stories.

Loved seeing the city. Bill Bell was a wonderful guide. He was very knowledgeable and kind to us. I particularly liked that the tour was flexible. We could stop when we wanted to see something, and not when a street view was enough.

This is our first visit to Savannah so we wanted to take a small group or private guided tour in order to learn about the history and the surrounding area. This tour did not disappoint. Our guide was Rose and she was awesome. She is from Savannah and was so knowledgeable. First we went to Tybee Island followed by a stop at Fort Pulaski. We learned about the history of both the Revolutionary and Civil Wars. Our next visit was to Bonaventure Cemetary. Rose helped us understand the history as well as separating fact from fiction regarding ‘Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil’. Next we visited the Squares in the Savannah historic district and then returned to our hotel. A wonderful morning tour! Thank you, Rose!
