My friend and I went on a girl's trip to Savannah and love all things spooky. We were looking for a ghost tour that would be more genuine and less theatrical and Patrick delivered! We ended up being the only two on the tour for a Sunday night and spent the evening hearing personal stories from Patrick, some history of Savannah, and sharing our own experiences. Patrick is very kind and if you are into the truly authentic and personal encounters of an individual and less about the classic stories of Savannah this would be your tour. As a group unfamiliar with the history of Savannah, this tour was just not what we were expecting. We were hoping for more of the local lore and legends in combination with details of Patrick’s own personal paranormal experiences. Patrick’s dedication to the truth perhaps made for a more authentic but less entertaining experience. If you have never been to Savannah and want to hear about the (maybe not so true) local legends this may not be for you. But if you are familiar with savannahs legends and want a more personal and accurate paranormal recounting, this would be the tour for you.
Patrick gave our group the best tour! You can tell how passionate he is, and he entertained all of our questions about Savannah and the supernatural. I highly recommend as the ghost tour to book because, as he’ll tell you himself, he values the truth over a good story!
Patrick is AMAZING! We loved our tour, it was supposed to be a 90 minute tour starting at 8 pm, but our group was very talkative and asked many questions, so our tour went until around 10:30! Patrick is able to match the tour to his group, and matches energy perfectly! The $30 ticket cost was WELL worth the stories we were told and the time Patrick spent with us. My husband and I do ghost tours in each city we visit, and this experience was our favorite to date! When we are back in savannah, we will definetly book with Patrick again!

My husband and I had a great evening ghost touring with Patrick! I really appreciated that the tour went off despite the rain and the two of us being the only people who booked that evening. I have scheduled tours that have canceled for less, but Patrick assured us he still would have hosted the tour for one guest. If you are looking for a guide who will simply share Urban Legends of Savannah, this tour is not for you. If you are looking for firsthand stories from a paranormal researcher, then you will not be disappointed. Patrick is clearly passionate about sharing the history of Savannah, which I appreciated since we got both a historical and ghost tour. He was open and honest about his own paranormal encounters at some regular haunts, and some more unexpected locations as well. If you do book with The Guy in the Kilt come ready to ask questions and share your own terrifying tales. Patrick loves discussing the paranormal with his guests, and will theorize with you about anything and everything pertaining to it. It is important to note that there are Pub stops along the way, as well as bathrooms. My husband and I opted to not stop since I don’t drink, but just knowing there were opportunities to use the restroom put my mind at ease. For a different sort of ghost tour I highly recommend The Guy in the Kilt!

Great guide. Very informative and engaging. It was a ‘private’ tour because nobody else had booked that evening, but he said that he’ll go out even if it’s 1-2 or a full tour which is so great because some tours will cancel if there aren’t “enough” people
