My mom and I truly enjoyed Sho’s ramen tour yesterday. We visited three uniquely different spots and tried amazing ramen. Sho is very knowable about the Sapporo food scene and he’s fluent in Chinese and English, making the group so easily connected. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in exploring Japanese ramen while receiving some tips about how to best enjoy Hokkaido.
I highly recommend the Ramen tour. We tried 3 very different styles and definitely some things we had no chance of finding on our own. Be sure to come hungry! All of the Ramens were really good and they progress from lightest to richest so make sure to leave some space. Our guide, Sho, was great! He was very knowledgeable and explained many things about the different Ramens, the different spices that come with them, and generally about the Ramen eating culture and it's origin. We've also learned a lot about the local culture as we visited during the summer festival. Sho also explained how that goes and about the parade and different dances which upgraded the fesrival experience as well.
