after picking you up at your hotel we drive to the Flamingos near the Walvisbay Waterfront, from here we pass the Ramsar Wetlands and Lagune, viewing thousands of birds, the pink lakes of the Salt mine on our way to Pelican point where we visit the 70000 strong Seal Colony, from here our journey takes us south to the towering Dunes, where Dunes meet Sea, with breathtaking views and adrenaline evoking dune drive, searching for animal life in this desolate desert area, we discuss history, view this very beautiful but harsh area and then back to your Hotel. Creating unforgettable memories. After this thrilling day you will enjoy your sundowner.
We stop at the Walvis bay Lagune and view the thousands of Flamingos and other waders in the important Ramsar Wetland SOME 250 000 birds from time to time in this area then we turn north to the Seal colony. Here 70 000 seals can be seen close by and observed. If we are lucky we will find a Jackal in search of something to eat

We Pick up at the Hotel you are staying at in Swakopmund and Walvisbay, or at the Walvisbay Harbor and Airport. Our Tour starts in Swakopmund and Walvisbay pick up is 30 minutes later Please take note all cruise liner passengers. We stand in the port after the first gate with a Gazebo that has our logo on. Please note your guide will also stand with a name board. please note all Cruise Liner passengers, your tour pick up time starts an hour after you have docked. The tour will depart latest an hour and a half after the pick up time. Late comers are considered a no show

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Victor as our guide during our visit to the Namib Desert, Sandwich Harbour and Pelican Point. Victor was extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly throughout the entire experience. He shared lots of interesting information about the desert, the wildlife and the local environment, making the tour not only spectacular but also very interesting. Driving through the huge dunes of the Namib was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Namibia. Victor made us feel completely safe at all times while also making the experience exciting and unforgettable. Pelican Point and the incredible landscapes along the coast were equally impressive. What really made the difference, however, was Victor himself: always kind, patient, enthusiastic and genuinely passionate about showing us the beauty of his country. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend Victor to anyone visiting this incredible part of Namibia. We had a great time touring with Rinus in Walvis Bay and Sandwich Harbour. We had a lot of fun and learnt several fun facts about the area. The dune driving with 4 wheel drive is a must and our guide was an expert! Highly recommend!

Today we started with Volker our guide who picked us up at the hotel. We had an absolutely wonderful day on the seal tour by kayak, followed by an exciting 4x4 adventure through the Namibian desert. Our guide, Volker, was truly exceptional. He was a proficient driver, spoke 6 languages and was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, not only about the seals, flamingos and salt pans but also about the wildlife and nature of Namibia. He shared so much fascinating information with us and was always happy to answer our questions. No effort was ever too much for him. Thanks to him we had an unforgettable day filled with adventure, beautiful experiences and plenty of new things to learn. His enthusiasm, kindness and knowledge made the day even more special. I'm not sure about the name of the tour, but we saw flamingos, seals, pink lakes, did siper cool dune drive. That was an absolute amazing experience!!! Worth every coin! Beautiful views, cool dune drive, and what's we loved most - a looot of interesting stories from our guide Andrew! He is absolutely cool! I don't know about the other guys, but if you have a chance to book with Andrew - DO IT!!! Photos were taken on another phone with better camera, so sorry, no pics. Svetlana, Russia

Had a great day! We started out with a relaxed ride on a small catamaran with friendly staff and a hitchhiking seal. We saw and heard lots of seals and dolphins up close. Very enjoyable. In the afternoon, the excitement level went way up. We drove out to Sandwich Harbour just before the spring tide made the passage along the beach impossible. Our driver’s experience really stood out here: the other companies did not reach the passage in time, while we made it through before the tide came in. We drove between mighty dunes and impressive waves. Some exciting moments! The cars did not stay dry! In the end however, this gave us an even more serene environment, with just the three Desert Dunes vehicles (connected by radio) in between the dunes. We also learned a lot about the nature surrounding us. This combination trip is definitely doable. You’ll feel fulfilled (and tired) at the end of the day.

I came into this experience feeling a bit discombobulated and under-the-weather. I was a bit behind the 8-ball on preparing for the adventure and my driver, Andrew, totally put me at ease. He was kind, funny and really knowledgable. He went above-and-beyond to set us at ease and even gave us fossilized oyster shells he had collected. That is, by far, my favorite souvenir from this trip. (I honestly felt like no tip would have been big enough to cover my gratitude). Other drivers were also exceedingly kind to me at collective stops for the tour. My stomach was a bit off, and one of them told me at an off-cycle time I looked like I needed a beer, and sat and drank one with me in the sand while other folks hiked the sand dunes. It helped! My only feedback is that I would have liked a little more time on the water with the seals, but I love animals and others seemed okay with the pacing. As a seasoned traveler, I have no reservations whole-heartedly recommending this experience. (I initially chose it on the recommendation of friends, and I think they were spot on with their positive experience).
