Itinerary
Discover the Belle Époque charm of San Sebastian as we explore its most iconic landmarks. Our journey begins at the City Hall (Ayuntamiento), a stunning building with a rich history. Strolling along the famous La Concha Beach, you'll hear how the city became a luxurious spa retreat for Spanish royalty. Next, we'll visit the impressive Cathedral of Buen Pastor, home to one of Europe’s largest organs. Our journey continues as we cross the Maria Cristina Bridge, an architectural gem inspired by the bridges of Paris, offering breathtaking views of the Urumea River. We'll then admire the exterior of the Maria Cristina Hotel, a glamorous symbol of the San Sebastian Film Festival, still bearing scars from the Spanish Civil War. Just across, we'll see the Victoria Eugenia Theatre, a historic venue that has witnessed the city's vibrant cultural life.
In this second part of the tour, we’ll delve into the narrow streets of the Old Town, where one of the city’s most intense battles took place. We will visit the Market of La Bretxa, a historic marketplace that has been a vital part of local life for centuries. As we explore, you'll discover century-old shops, some over 190 years old! We’ll step inside the Church of San Vicente, a Gothic gem that holds a relic older than the city itself, and visit the famous Plaza de la Constitucion, which conceals fascinating hidden secrets. Our journey ends at the iconic Church of Santa Maria del Coro, where we’ll admire its stunning Baroque façade from the outside.
To conclude, the guide will invite you to choose one pintxo and a drink, a perfect moment to enjoy our local white wine and immerse yourself in the city's rich gastronomic culture (only inlcuded in the small group option)

Great tour of the town. Ibeth was knowledgeable and friendly, answered all our questions. Pintxos were great.
Guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Tour was great. We learned a lot about the history of San Sebastian.
Delicious food, definitely the best I've had in Spain and plenty of wine. Definitely worth it, come hungry but not too hungry since they'll be plenty of drinks.
Be prepared for plenty of walking.....and bring water. Tourguide Fabion i think was approachable and chatty.
The tour was advertised for 20.pp with the disclaimer that the price depends upon the number of participants. At the height of the tourist season in San Sebastián we didn’t think there would be much of a difference. We were shocked to be charged $128. Instead of the $40. we expected. A 20 percent increase would have been acceptable. and we were 8 people. Our guide was pleasant and knowledgeable but there was far too many dry facts at each stop. The pinxtos and the wine at the end were delicious and the group was great.
Fantastic, informative and friendly tour. Rafael was great. He answered questions, informed us and gave us tips for beyond the tour. He was wonderful.
This is a good tour when you want to know the history of San Sebastián. It is a walking tour to different parts of the city. It ends in the old town at a pincho bar. It’s not a pincho tour.
First time travelling solo. First tour booked on my own. Worth every penny. Rafael was a fantastic guide, and just 6 of us was the perfect sized group. Rafael was super knowledgeable and relaxed. Helped me feel more confident going into bars on my own afterwards. Would definitely book again.
Excellent guide: Ibai. A very interesting experience. I highly recommend.
Gilles was very kind and informative. Made jokes and kept the our happy with good food spot as well and will recommend to the friends
