Whenever I travel overseas to a new city I always book a walking tour. It’s the best way to get to get the highlights and also a few recommendations from the guide. In this case, our guide, Andrea, was excellent at relating the history of Saltzburg including Mirabell Palace and places in the Altstadt.
Floriance was the greatest tour guide - full of passion, and historical stories. The city is so beautiful and you come away with a richer understanding and appreciation for it.
Excellent experience. Not too much and not too little on the information side. The guide was excellent; professional and very witty. Gave us a great idea of the city and its place in history. Not just about The Sound of Music! Would highly recommend this tour.
Andrea was terrific - easy to understand, stopped to talk in the shade, very knowledgeable, loves her city and was very personable.
Excellent guide, nice tour!!! Thank you for your knowledge and for pacing the tour nicely! Great spots you showed us, thanks.
Very nice tour guide. Small tour but interesting.
I only gave it a 1 star because 0 is not an option. The tour guide never showed up and left ~25 of us just standing at the meeting point. Several people called the tour company and we were told there was an "emergency" and the tour was canceled and we would have to request a refund.
Good way to get oriented to Salzburg. Enjoyable tour and our guide Eva was very entertaining!
It was extremely hot and our guide made sure he stopped in the shade when explaining things. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of everyone’s questions
Great tour! Our tour guide was great (a Salzburg native!) and gave very informative details. A decent amount of walking but at a leisurely pace.
