Individual tables at dinner in the Panorama Restaurant! Your table will be allocated according to the number of people booked, except 23.-25.12. In case of fine and suitable weather conditions, the VIP Dinner is served on the panoramic terrace. Up in the world-famous fortress, high above the city of Mozart, a place, where the archbishop welcomed his special guests, you will experience a top class classical concert. Listen to some of Mozart´s most popular works, like “A little Nightmusic”, as well as other great masters of music, performed by internationally renowned musicians. This was one of the highlights of our trip!!! We decided to book the Golden VIP ticket version and are so glad that we did. Not only does it come with all of the wine included, you end up with one of the tables at the railing with a phenomenal view. While sometimes a great view means mediocre food, that is definitely not the case here. We had one of our most delicious meals of the trip and the service was fantastic. Afterwards, we went to the Fortress for the concert. Again, we had great seats and the musicians were wonderful. If we go back to Salzburg in the future, I would book this again.
This was an amazing experience. I booked the VIP gold package because it was a surprise birthday present for my husband, his birthday was the day we did this. The food was really good. The waiters were very attentive and even bought my husband a piece of chocolate cake with a firework in it as an extra, after dessert, for his birthday, they also sang happy birthday to him. The location was perfect. It was amazing to be sitting so close to the musicians, the concert was amazing. I would highly recommend doing this.
Most gorgeous location for dinner and sunset! We were able to order cocktails first. Dinner and dessert were both good. Our waiter was great. We just think water should have been provided with the cost of the dinner. The concert was excellent.
It is very hot Dinner is very early for Spaniards It is a bit expensive for what it is; if I went back, I would only go to the concert
The fortress is spectacular with incredible views, the dinner is well worth it, the 1 hour 30 minute concert was very good, the only thing was that the room was very hot, yes it was August 8th.. but otherwise perfect, it is worth it
Finding the designated parking for the cable car is a bit tricky, right at the entrance to the old city, which you are not supposed to enter with your car! Also there is about 12-15 min walk to the cable car depending on whether you chose park A or B.B is slightly better and closer. Plan to arrive at least 30 min ahead of time
Food at restaurant was not so wonderful. Staff and location of the restaurant was beautiful. Mozart Concert was amazing, from the concert chambers to the sound. 4 piece plus a pianist. A must to do if in Salzburg.
Wonderful experience in the Fortress. A delicious meal followed by a moving performance in historical surroundings.
The food was excellent and the concert was excellent as well. You won’t be disappointed with this experience.
Unbelievable experience, especially for the price. I booked the classic experience (not the VIP). Because I assumed we would be eating at the same tables for the concert, and we like the acoustics better from the back. Turns out that dinner is outside, in the back of the fortress and overlooks a beautiful valley and alps. Concert is inside the fortress. Our classic food menu was good (had to pay for our drinks). If you book VIP you get front row seats at the restaurant, and a menu with food options, some drinks included. Our classic seats were still fantastic, and our waiters were exceptional. Concert was amazing! 90-minutes, and performed by highly skilled, professional musicians, not students.
