Great exhibits and a beautiful museum
The Royal Ontario Museum is an impressive place to explore. The building itself is worth seeing, with a unique mix of historic architecture and modern design.
The museum is huge, with a wide variety of exhibits covering history, wildlife, art, and cultures from around the world. The dinosaur displays were fascinating, and I also enjoyed discovering the different galleries and collections.
I loved how each section had its own atmosphere, making the visit feel like a journey through different times and places. It’s a museum where you can easily spend a few hours and still feel like there is more to see.

Packed
Look ROM is great but it was so packed and people pushing in front of you and people pushing wheelchairs through an area like a snow plow the whole experience was awful for me and my family. Overall attendance needs to be managed o make it a safe and enjoyable experience.
It was so crowded that we regret going and a waste of money as we just left due to crowds and people pushing in front of our kids

The Dinosaur Gallery Was the Highligt
We visited the Royal Ontario Museum today. It is a pleasant place to spend a few hours, and the dinosaur gallery was definitely the best and most impressive part of our visit.
However, if you have previously visited world-class museums such as the British Museum in London, the Louvre in Paris, or the Smithsonian museums along the National Mall in Washington, D.C., you may find the ROM somewhat underwhelming. Apart from the dinosaur section, the collections and displays did not offer us any particular surprises or truly memorable highlights.
Overall, it was still an enjoyable visit, but our expectations were probably too high.

Nice activity
Nice activity. First visit to a renowned museum with my daughter. She loved learning more about the history of civilizations; Egypt, Rome, Greece, etc.

A stellar museum and there is something for everyone
The ROM is a stellar museum and there is something for everyone! It is easy to access by subway, and allow a few hours to see the many artifacts on display. We explored the permanent exhibit area, as well as a special exhibit, 'The Bees' which effectively combined art and science (an "arts-based immersive experience"). We toured the dinosaur exhibits, saw artifacts from Rome and Greece, enjoyed an exceptional display of items from Korea and China, and took in the European Exhibit with displays of rooms (with furniture, dishes etc) from various time periods. We had lunch at the Cafe in the museum, a tasty Caprese Sandwich, which was a reasonable cost. While we didn't see all the artifacts, there is too much for that to happen, we did explore the areas of greatest interest to us in 3 hours.

Great museum for families
Fantastic museum with a whole floor devoted to kids' interests.
Recommend this for that awkward time between checking out and going to airport -ROM will store your luggage for $4 per bag and it's a cool calm day before travelling.

excellent museum
we spent the afternoon at the museum sheltered from the heatwave. There are excellent and interesting sections. The museum is large, so you need to set aside some time for it. The entrance hall is particularly beautiful.
