I usually dislike tours - but we totally lost track of time! Robby is great.
The tram ride and visit to Roosevelt Island were nice for me. It was disappointing because the self-guided audio gave a lengthy advertisement at the beginning and didn't explain where to start. It is a small island, which is historically interesting but there was no public guide or such. I wound up buying a ticket to enter although I paid through the app because there was no one to help me access a ticket entry. It really is just another residential area with lots of apartment buildings. It was a pretty view but very confusing to understand how to organize my time there. YOu should go just for an easy tram ride and the view.

I am writing to formally express extreme disappointment regarding a recent tour booking that ultimately failed to proceed as scheduled, resulting in a completely wasted day for my party. Our scheduled tour, booked for July 26, 2026, was rendered impossible to attend due to a critical operational failure on the part of your designated operator. We were informed that an essential access code, required to utilize the Pintour platform for the experience, would be issued prior to commencement. Regrettably, this code was never provided. Despite arriving at the designated meeting point and attempting to access the tour, the absence of this crucial access code prevented any participation. We made multiple diligent efforts to contact the operator directly, both through messaging services and repeated phone calls, during the time leading up to and immediately following the scheduled start. Distressingly, all attempts to establish communication were met with absolute silence; no response was received whatsoever. The direct consequence of this severe lapse in communication and preparation was the complete disruption of our day. We invested considerable time, effort, and resources in travelling to the location, only to be left stranded and unable to partake in the planned activity. This incident not only consumed several invaluable hours but also resulted in significant inconvenience and profound disappointment. We find the overall organization and responsiveness surrounding this particular event to be entirely unsatisfactory. We anticipate a comprehensive explanation for this significant breakdown in service delivery and expect a full refund for our booking. We look forward to your prompt attention to this urgent matter and a satisfactory resolution.
We're truly sorry to hear about your experience and apologize for not meeting your expectations. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We take concerns like yours seriously and would like the opportunity to make things right. If you're willing, please contact us with more details so we can review the situation and work toward a resolution.
This Tour helped me to navigate Roosevelt Island better than a local. The suggestion to get food at the Japanese store before getting on the tram was genius! I saw beautiful parks and scenery and I learned so many fun facts I never would have without the guide.
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We're thrilled to hear that you had a great experience. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and hope to welcome you again soon!
