Itinerary

20 min

Piazza Navona, entirely covered in cobblestones, has an elongated rectangular shape. It features three fountains and an Egyptian obelisk. The particular geometry of the square is given by the previous Stadium of Domitian which stood in its place in the Roman period.

Admission not included15 min

The Pantheon "temple of all gods", is a building of ancient Rome located in the historic center, built as a temple dedicated to all past, present and future deities. It is now a church and an Italian historical monument.

20 min

The Trevi Fountain is the most spectacular and largest of Rome's fountains, with a width of 20 meters and a height of 26 meters. The origin of the fountain dates back to 19 BC, a time in which it constituted the termination of the aqueduct, the Aqua Virgo.

20 min

The square is dominated by the magnificent, eighteenth-century Staircase of Trinità dei Monti, built in travertine by the architect Francesco De Sanctis. Defined as "the living room of Rome", and dominated by the Church of the Santissima Trinità dei Monti, one of the five French-speaking Catholic churches in Rome.

10 min

Piazza del Popolo is the intersection of three main streets of the historic center of the Italian capital, via del Babuino, via di Ripetta and via del Corso. Located beneath the beautiful Pincio gardens, this square was the main entrance to the city in Roman times.

60 min

Dinner in a typical Roman restaurant with a land starter (mozzarella with various cured meats), pizza or a first course of Roman pasta, cappuccino and tozzetto as dessert.

Admission not included30 min

The Colosseum became the largest Roman amphitheater, with an elliptical structure 188 meters long, 156 meters wide and 57 meters high. Made of bricks and covered in travertine, it was divided into five levels with a capacity of over 50,000 people.

15 min

Located between the Aventine and the Palatine, the Circus Maximus in Rome was a stadium with a capacity for 300,000 spectators. Its sand track, 600 meters long and 225 meters wide, made the Circus Maximus the largest stadium in Rome, more capacious than the Circus Flaminius and the Circus of Maxentius.

25 min

The entire square is approximately 340 meters wide while the ellipse has an arc 240 meters wide. The ellipse is partially closed on both sides by colonnades made up of 284 columns and 88 pillars. On the balustrades at the top of each colonnade rest a total of 140 statues depicting Catholic saints.

10 min

Campo de' Fiori was built in the area in front of the Temple of Venus Victrix, perhaps the temple's stalls, and its name derives from the presence of a vast flowery meadow, as well as vegetable gardens, which adorned the square in the fifteenth century.

5 min

Piazza Farnese is one of the most elegant squares in the city, aristocratically isolated and dominated by two large fountains that lead the gaze onto the building which has been home to the French Embassy since 1874.

5 min

The square is dominated by the Vittoriano, one of the Italian national symbols; three monumental buildings surround it on the other sides. The oldest is the fifteenth-century Palazzo Venezia, which gives its name to the square and which is home to the national museum of the same name.

A rushed tour, just pass bys with occasional stops like Collosiem and Trevi fountain that was closed to public

No time to step out and take photos. Felt like was rushed. We had to ask to stop. Did not get to see St. Peter’s square. We had a good dinner but we had to share plates with a family. Would have preferred my own plate with tasting. Probably would not choose this tour again

Operator response

After have received hundreds of 5 stars reviews to have the only 3 stars review ever received it hurts and makes me think if the hundreds were all wrong and lied or the 3 stars is not completely wright and saying the truth. Beside I would like to remember that this lady was supposed to take the tour on AUG. 15 and she cancelled 10 minutes before departure, I still gave her possibility to make the tour without pay any penalty the day after but she had to share with a family who were booked for the day. I always ask my clients if they had plan to see St. Peter the day after and only in this case I am not going but giving instead other place to see. Considering also that the all tour with dinner last 3,5 hrs......

This was our best tour...

This was our best tour experience ever. Our guide was quite knowledgeable about the history of Rome and spoke very clearly and concisely. We went to all the fun places in Rome and had the best dinner and gelato. I totally loved the experience and my kids had a lot of fun too. I will recommend this to friends and family.

Anniversary

Evening Golf cart tour with my husband around Rome. We visited all locations as noted on the itinerary except vatican Did not enjoy tour guide nor experience. Did not allow much time for pics.

Operator response

the way you write sounds a real disaster. Really cannot understand the 5 stars review the other 2 persons you shared with, have sent. Apparently one of the 2 is not saying right......

Great way to see the city!

This was a great way to see all the sites of the city. We really enjoyed seeing some of the sites lit up such as the Colosseum and Trevi fountain. It was really hot so being on the golf cart really saved us a lot of energy. It included a restaurant stop and a gelato stop. I can say that the pasta they gave you at the restaurant was the best pasta we’ve ever had in our life. They gave us a mix of appetizers as well. Some of them we loved and some of them we didn’t because they had had seafood in them and we didn’t weren’t aware. What item we wish they would ask about is what you want on your pizza. We got a pizza with mushrooms and olives and artichoke carts which we didn’t like any of them. But all in all, it was really great experience with great food. Our tour guide with very knowledgeable his name was Onofrio. One thing to be aware of is if you have an anaphylactic allergy to bees, there seems to be a lot of bees, outdoor dining in Rome. If I knew that I would’ve asked to be seated inside. They did move us inside, but I was a little nervous the whole time I was eating because of the amount of bees. Spending a few days in Rome we’ve noticed this all over the place. It wasn’t specific to this restaurant

An Absolute Game-Changer for Exploring the Eternal City!

If you want to experience the magic of Rome without the exhaustion of walking 25,000 steps a day or the claustrophobia of a crowded tour bus, booking a golf cart tour is the ultimate way to go. Our guide brought Rome's rich history to life with fascinating stories. Food taste of Rome was great, loved the pizza and one of the best gelato! Highly recommended!

Best Night In Rome

We had an amazing time on the Rome by Night Golf Cart Tour! Humphrey (for Italian name!?!?) was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the city. He took us through charming streets and to breathtaking sites that we never would have found on our own, while sharing fascinating history and local stories along the way. Seeing Rome illuminated at night was absolutely magical, and the golf cart made it easy to cover so much without the exhaustion of walking. The pizza and gelato were a fun bonus, too! This tour is absolutely worth the value and ended up being one of the highlights of our trip! We would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience Rome from a different perspective.

This trip is perfect if...

This trip is perfect if you want to get to learn Rome before deciding which sights and places you want to visit. It gives a good orientation of the city, parts of its history as well as a few hidden gems (such as the view from Monta Verde in Trastevere). It was a wonderful time riding around Rome with Onofrio as our guide! I can recommend the ride even during warm days since it gets cooler in the evening and the minicar is open to let in the wind. Onofrio had a lot of experience and could tell us a lot about different parts of Rome, the history of neighborhoods and palaces alike.

The best way to see the highlights of Rome!

We loved our evening golf cart tour with Onofrio! He did a wonderful job of showing us the highlights of Rome. He was engaging and very knowledgeable about the city and its history. Onofrio was a 5 star tour guide!! I gave 4 stars because the food at the restaurant where we had the arranged dinner was not at all appetizing. In fact it was the first meal I’ve had in Italy that left me feeling poorly. Overall, however, it was so fun to dart around Rome in the evening learning so many interesting facts and history. It’s something you could definitely do more than once!! Great way to start your stay in Rome or to recap all of your adventures! Grazie Onofrio!

10/10 recommend!

This tour was the highlight of our trip. The operator is so knowledgeable and gave us a ton of information about the area. He was sensitive to my husband's hearing issues and spoke clearly to him so he was able to participate. It felt as if we were with family!
