You will taste two types of wine with food pairings including pecorino Romano and Barolo cheese, 30 years aged balsamic vinegar, truffles and more. The experience takes place in a locally loved restaurant located in the center of Rome, in trastevere. As you sip, our expert guide will unveil the unique stories behind each wine and local winemaking traditions. The food was delicious, the wine kept flowing, and the experience of trying different foods and learning about the food/wine and regions they came from was so enjoyable. Sylvia did an exceptional job sharing knowledge and making each person feel valued and included in the experience, even my younger daughter. This tour made us want to do a food tour every city we go to, even back home. I will do this tour again if I visit Rome again.
