I’m going to be so...

I’m going to be so honest, this isn’t worth it if you really need the wheelchair accessibility. Our guide was fantastic but they just don’t to great in Rome when it comes to accessibility. The terrain is rough getting into the Colosseum and it’s a long walk to the one elevator entrance of the Roman forum plus you can barely see it. As the person walking with my grandpa in the chair, I had a tough experience (it was also really hot). I feel like you can watch a YouTube video and buy one of those books and be good. We stayed across the street from the Colosseum so we had a good view. It’s worth seeing and learning about but the tour is just not. Really expensive for the struggle. Francesca was incredible though. She was very informative and patient with us and actually met us at the Airbnb. She saved the experience and you would be lucky to have her as a guide.

Well Worth It!!

Our tour guide, Thomas, from Accessible Italy tours, was so knowledgeable about the subject matter and really helped us visualize how ancient Rome would have looked and operated. He was also very friendly, accommodating, helping us navigate through the crowds and gave us recommendations on restaurants, local transport and other attractions to see. I would highly recommend this tour and this company.
