Rome to Pompeii Guided Tour with Wine & Lunch by High Speed Train

Description
Most day trips to Pompei from Rome take 12 or more hours and involve 6 to 8 hours sitting on a cramped bus. This all-inclusive tour by high-speed train is the utmost in comfort, quality and convenience. Reach Naples in one hour, and from there in only 35 minutes by coach we arrive at Pompeii where your expert local guide will amaze you during a walking tour of this city devastated by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in AD 79. Experience a world frozen in time as you stroll along the cobblestone ancient roads where perfectly conserved ancient bakeries, shops, stalls, residences, public baths and even brothels remain! Take in the tragic plaster casts of the Pompeiians who were immortalized on that devastating day by pyroclastic flow and ash. Upon conclusion of the guided tour you'll enjoy a tasting of four of the wines produced in the fertile volcanic soil of Mt. Vesuvius followed by an abundance of antipasti, a first course and dessert before returning to Naples for your return trip.

Loved this tour! Pompei tour and winery lunch made a great pairing. Excellent guides and well organized transportation. Do this in the fall when it’s not so hot!
Pompeii was on our bucket list and this tour did not disappoint. The high speed train was comfortable and quick, our tour guides (one on the train and one in Pompeii) were knowledgeable and delightful, and lunch and wine tasting at the winery was fun. Overall, a very nice tour.
Amazing day out, get your steps in with the Pompeii portion of the tour then relax with some lovely wines, food and cellos Great day out!
Great tour - tour guide was very knowledgeable. Wine lunch was delicious!!
This you do get your bang for your buck. The tour is very insightful and the wine and lunch was very cute. If you are a wino....this is more cute pictures a couple of decent wine and a light lunch...this is not walk you through a vinyard tasting grapes and talking about wine type of tour. Its still very good and the food was delicious but manage your expectations. Our tour guide Vicoria was beyond amazing, she knew her stuff.
Amazing from start to finish! Every single part of it was amazing! My husband loved it and our 9 year old did also !! I could not rate it higher x
It was fabulous, easy and great communication. Make sure to pack water and comfy shoes (and your SPF) for pompeii- great guide and fantastic agenda. The vineyard was just lovely! Perfect end to a perfect day!
We almost missed it, but Alda literally ran to us to help us navigate to our terminal. I forgot the name of the woman who was our guide on the train, but she was very helpful. Our tour guide, Victoria, was extremely knowledgeable and patient with the entire group. I highly recommend this tour but I would advise against bringing small children. Bring a fan, plenty water, and comfortable walking shoes. It’s a LOT of walking. I do hate we weren’t able to see the entire city, but it’s very large and would need majority of the day too see it all.
They took care of everything! We were able to have an amazing experience without worrying about the logistics. Sevina met us at the train station and explained everything to expect for the day. She truly cared about making the experience comfortable. Someone in our group got sick on the train, and she did everything she could to make him comfortable. Victoria was extremely knowledgeable about Pompeii and made it come to life through stories. The winery lunch was a wonderful experience.
Very well organised from start to finish. Pompeii is a destination where you learn more from a guide and ours was very knowledgeable. The wine tasting and meal was a great addition at the end of the tour. Met some brilliant people and had a fantastic day. I would definitely recommend this experience.
