Pickup Locations & Times

If you will be at the airport, your driver will be waiting for you holding a sign with your name written on it, right after baggage claim doors (please note you need to get out from baggage claim area) at NCC Limo Driver meeting point. Look out for your name! Waiting time is max 1 hour, if you think you will need more please specify when you book the ride. If your flight has landed and everything is moving within the normal waiting time, no problem. But if you realize you’re delayed for any reason, the first thing you must do is contact your driver (who likely has already texted you) or the agency. It’s important to stay in touch so that, if possible, the driver can wait a bit longer. If you don’t communicate, the driver will assume you’re not coming and will have to leave, and the service will be considered completed and non-refundable. If you are at one of the many hotels, he will be in the lobby, if it is a bnb or a regular flat, please be on time right at the address you send us as a pick-up point, waiting time here is max 15 mins. For transfers from Rome to the airport, please provide only the pick-up time at the hotel or B&B (not the flight time); if you’re unsure about the right time, just ask us for advice via message.

Highly recommended

Incredible introduction to Rome our driver was extremely friendly we got a good tour of the entrance into the city. He showed us the wall and the bathhouse there. Which we didn’t actually even know much about really cool opportunity to see parts of the city that you weren’t expecting to see upon booking.

Late pickup and took us to wrong terminal

The driver was 15 minutes late for an already tight schedule to get to the airport on time. At the airport I told the driver we were flying by Air France and were to go to Terminal 3. He insisted Air France flew out of Terminal 1. He was wrong and by the time we made it to Terminal 3 and stood in line we made it with exactly 2 minutes to spare before the check in deadline. Super stressful situation.

The driver most likely followed his airport knowledge since Air France usually operates from Terminal 1, but sometimes the airport makes last-minute changes, it happens. I checked the GPS and saw that the driver arrived about 10 minutes late, but it was a day of extremely heavy traffic due to several events and protest that were affecting many routes. You were located in a very congested area (Trevi Fountain). Still, you were at the airport by 10:30 AM for a 12:30 PM flight, which is normally more than enough time for check-in. Next time, since we saw you requested to be picked up earlier only the day before, please let us know a bit further in advance if you’d like extra time at the airport. This way we can better adjust the schedule and make sure everything runs more smoothly. I truly apologize again for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Go with Rome Limo Transfer instead and ask for Ana Carolina. Thybris left us stranded and still kept our money.

We had a 24 hour layover in Rome at the end of our trip, so for simplicity decided to pay extra and book a private transfer to keep things stress free. Booked an airport pickup and transfer with a different company on Viator "Rome Limo Transfer". We booked the night before arriving in Rome. Our Driver "Ana Carolina" reached out to us immediately upon booking confirmation to start the communication and let us know key details. The service was so outstanding and pain free, we immediately decided to book a return private transfer from our Hotel to the airport instead of trying to find a taxi the next day. Unfortunately, "Rome Limo Transfer" was already booked up, so Viator listed alternatives which led us to booking with "Thybris", because they had comparable reviews. This experience with Thybris was a huge disappointment. Upon booking confirmation we did not receive any communication from the driver at all. For comparison Rome Limo Transfers messaged us immediately upon booking confirmation to give us key details. We submitted the form with all of our Flight details including flight# and scheduled time for flight departure and provided all requested information through Viator along with a comment mentioning we would need a 7am pickup time scheduled to catch our flight that was leaving at 10am. Really we had hoped to leave at 6:30am, but the earliest time available was showing at 7am, understandable we could make it work. The next morning we all were ready at our hotel lobby at 6:45am with luggage, as 7am came around we still had not heard anything from our driver. So we messaged the only contact# listed on the booking confirmation/details and let them know we are ready for pickup. This is when we find out our driver had the pickup time scheduled for 10am. Which we replied that it was supposed to be for 7am and that our flight departs at 10am, which would have easily been confirmed by a quick Google search with the flight# provided if the driver had done their due diligence. We asked if anyone was available to give us a ride to the airport, since we were stranded at this point with the potential to miss our flight. We were notified no one was available and we would have to find our own alternative option. Fortunately, we were able to schedule a Taxi through our hotel, which took less than 10 minutes for them to come pick us up in a comparable sized van with plenty of room for 5 adults and all of our luggage. The taxi drove us promptly to the airport, so we didn't miss our flight and did this for 70 Euros including the generous tip we gave our driver for rescuing from this potential disaster. When we reached out to Thybris about refunding our 166.25 Euros since the ride did not take place, and now we were having to pay for a taxi last minute we were informed by "Francisco" that due to their cancellation policy we would not receive any refund, but he would try to submit a request for us. This led to us receiving a partial refund of 60 euros for a ride that never took place. The reasoning being that the driver had missed out on opportunities because we "cancelled" our reservation on short notice. However, we did not cancel our reservation, and the driver did not do their part in confirming flight details and scheduled pickup time, which was entered in the comments as 7am (normal practice for any decent limo service delivering good customer service). Essentially Francisco was not willing to coach the driver on improving their process and communication skills, which were completely lacking. Instead they blamed us as customers and viator for the form that is used to schedule the rides, both of which were filled out and could have been easily resolved if the driver simply messaged us confirming pickup time for booking, like Ana Carolina with Rome Limo Transfer did. If you want an efficient and reasonable way to get to the airport from Rome City center, then just book a Taxi Van you are really getting the same ride at a better price. If you want a Private Transfer experience with a professional that knows how to go the extra mile and deliver seamless results for their clients, then go with "Rome Lime Transfer" and ask for Ana Carolina if she is available, we Highly Recommend her. Avoid Thybris, because they are not adding any benefit to paying a premium price for a transfer. We ended up paying over 100 euros for a ride that never happened, and for this business that was not only an acceptable result but something they wanted us to be grateful for. If you still want to risk giving this place your business, please make sure to confirm all of the details with them as soon as possible, so you are not left stranded trying to return home, and then blamed for whatever reason they can come up with.

In the reservation details we received from Viator, the only information provided was a 10:00 AM pickup time. We did not receive any note or confirmed request for a 7:00 AM pickup. There is no such indication in the booking we have on record, and we have screenshots of the reservation details as they were transmitted to us. Perhaps you entered it, but we never received it. We don’t blame Viator; as I mentioned to you privately, I completely understand that all these fields might be confusing, especially on a last-minute booking. For departures from Rome to the airport, our policy clearly states that customers must indicate their desired pickup time from the hotel, not just the flight departure time. The pickup time is what determines when the driver must arrive, since every passenger has different needs. If, for example, a passenger needs to leave at 6:30 AM for a morning flight, that falls under our night service, which is available and explained in the service description. Even if we had received the flight schedule, it would not define the pickup time, as the two are separate matters. For arrivals at the airport, we monitor flight information in real time, since delays or early arrivals are outside the customer’s control. For departures, however, it is the customer’s responsibility to provide the correct pickup time, because the transfer company cannot guess it. Regarding the refund: according to policy, last-minute cancellations are not refundable, because the driver loses the opportunity to work in that slot. Nevertheless, I personally intervened to request a partial refund from Viator on your behalf, even though by contract no refund was due. A full refund is only provided when a flight is cancelled, making the service unnecessary through no fault of the customer. We regret that this caused you stress, but it is not correct to claim that we left you without service due to negligence. We also feel it is unfair to direct these reviews at us across all of our social media platforms. The misunderstanding arose because the pickup time was not properly entered into the booking system. Go with Rome Limo Transfer Driver Ana Carolina instead of this place if you want the best Transfer Experience

First of all, we would like to clarify for anyone reading this review that everything you have written here was already discussed with you in private, but since you decided to make it public, we feel it is fair to explain again. Your booking was made as a URGENT one, late on Saturday evening for Sunday morning, and the pickup time entered in the form was 10:00 AM. This is the only information we received from Viator and so from you. Nowhere in the system was a 7:00 AM pickup communicated to us. No comments mentioning it or a direct message so when we inserted your service into our schedule we simply could not know there was an incorrect pick up time. Honestly, the reason why we do not contact every single traveler is quite clear. Viator works in a rather automated way. We are actually among the few who have chosen to keep manual confirmation for bookings instead of enabling instant confirmation for each reservation, precisely because we want to double-check all the details when they are sent to us by the customers. When there is no conflicting information, for us the booking is valid and we see no reason to contact the customer or bother them unnecessarily. Of course, if the customer has any specific request or question and writes to us, we reply immediately. That said, with a last-minute booking, where we don’t find any conflicting information, we don’t reach out, we don’t contact the customer. As texted you privately we clearly understand that on a last minute booking something could go missing and mistakes can be made, blaming that on us it’s a bit too much anyway, as well as writing 1 star reviews on all of our online pages as a revenge. To explain to readers, since we are a limousine/private transfer company and not a taxi service, we cannot dispatch drivers at the very last minute by law. At 7:00 AM on a busy Sunday, with high season traffic, it was simply impossible to arrange a replacement car outside the time scheduled in the booking. We would also like to underline that since 2017, with thousands of successful transfers, this type of misunderstanding has NEVER occurred. On our Viator page, it is clearly stated that for transfers from Rome to the airport the pickup time must be entered, not the flight time. The reason is simple: every passenger has different needs, some prefer pickup two hours before departure, others three or even more. This is why we always invite guests: if you are unsure which pickup time to insert, just send us a message and we will gladly advise you. Despite the fact that the service was then canceled at the very last moment, we still arranged a partial refund as a gesture of goodwill, even though part of the payment was retained by Viator as their commission and the rest by the assigned driver. Thybris did not keep any profit from this booking. Finally, I cannot fail to notice that your review not only blames us for a misunderstanding caused by incorrect booking details, but also openly promotes another local company. I find this in rather poor taste and it makes the review appear less impartial than it should be. Said so to reply to this specific matter since you mentioned it, a taxi ride costs way less than our cars for many good reasons, same for a train ride or a bus. Once again, we regret that this situation caused you stress on your travel day, but it is important to state clearly that the issue originated from the wrong booking details entered into Viator system and the absence of communication from your side, not from a lack of effort on ours. Curb the transport know your audience.

Plane was late, we had to walk alot to get to the transport van. Told one handi cap and I need ro k ee replacements. Only took 1 peice each of luggage leaving both myself and my sister n law shoes had spinal fusion done to drag the luggage to 3 different lots until we finally hit to the van. Awful after a delayed flight of 4 hours and 20 hrs if travel time. Not great

Our drivers always do their best to assist within their capabilities, but they are not equipped to provide the level of support required for mobility challenges. Additionally, no specific request for porter service was mentioned in your booking, so we were unable to make any prior arrangements. As for the designated parking area, NCC limo drivers are required to pick up passengers in the assigned zones, and we must follow airport regulations without exceptions. Lastly, we understand travel delays are frustrating, but the airline’s schedule and airport logistics are beyond our control. A lower rating due to circumstances unrelated to our service does not fairly reflect the effort and professionalism of our drivers. Poor Service

My husband and I had four bags. We were told they could not take us because we had too many bags. We had to wait in the taxi line forever. We never received a refund.

Hi Kim, I am so sorry for what happened. While I understand the frustration of having a bad experience I honestly don't think it is right to blame it on us with this review. On Viator product page it is clearly stated 1 bag each and that is of course affecting prices, so if you needed extra room we could have send a bigger vehicle, if only we knew.. but we did not! We are a limo company so we send cars to the airport to pick up people, that's why we couldn't process a refund, driver was there and waited for you, had to be paid. Said so I understand maybe you didn't read that specific part when you booked, if we could fix that in any other way we would have done something but we couldn't, that's it.

The driver was prompt and efficient. The app is helpful. Communication via text is helpful as well. The pick up time needs to be added to the wallet ticket.
