Remarkable Rome
Fantastic way to see Rome if you’re in a hurry, and foot sore and want to evade the crowds. Helene was a great guide and drive some amazing alleys and streets pointing out interesting info most tourists may not know.

Elina was a great tour...
Elina was a great tour guide. It was fast paced but thorough with plenty of stops for drinks and photos. Loved this tour to take in all the sites without walking 25,000 steps in the hot Roman sun.

Beware of Inexperienced Tour Guide
Run if Eleanor is your guide! She was a 24-year old younglady who had been in Rome for only 2 years. She had limited knowledge of Rome or it's history, she did not use a microphone, she talked about her Greek lineage and told us more about how the Greeks built Rome than anything else, she told us a story about the elephants and slaves building the Colosseum and said to us (two Black women from America) "those poor elephants," to which we replied "what about the poor slaves"? Very insensitive. And, to top it all off, this was the most expensive of all our tours. We certainly did NOT get our money's worth. This is not meant to be a personal attack, because she was sweet; however, we did not pay for inexperience.

We take feedback about our guides seriously, but we believe this review contains a number of personal assumptions and conclusions that do not fairly reflect the experience provided. Our golf cart tours are designed to provide an engaging overview of Rome and its major landmarks, and our guides are expected to provide historical and cultural information throughout the tour. A guide does not need to have lived in Rome for a particular number of years in order to conduct the tour, and the fact that our guide shared some information about her Greek background does not mean that the tour was focused on irrelevant subjects. Regarding the comment about the Colosseum and the elephants, we do not agree with the interpretation presented in this review. Historical stories and anecdotes can naturally lead to different reactions, but it is not appropriate to present a personal interpretation of a conversation as an objective description of the guide's intentions. We also find it important to point out that the price of the tour is clearly displayed before booking, so guests are able to decide whether the experience and price are suitable for them before making a reservation. We respect that this guest did not enjoy the experience as much as expected, but we do not believe that a two-star rating based largely on personal expectations and interpretations accurately represents the service provided.

Not good
We had Eleonora as our guide/golf cart driver. She was kind however stopped often for cigarette breaks, did not explain much of the history and when she did speak we could barely hear her. Next time I would take a hop on hop off bus. She also dropped us off just as the 2 hours were over. Very disappointed

Nothing special. Driver...
Nothing special. Driver (not a tour guide) took us around to a few parts of the city. A lot of pointing, saying, "that is ____, on the right is ____." Sitting in the back, we could not see where she was even pointing. Never would recommend this. Too many other options.

This was a private tour exclusively for your family of six, so there were no other guests in the vehicle. With six passengers, some guests will naturally be seated facing a different direction, depending on the seating arrangement of the golf cart. Our driver was also the tour guide for the experience, providing explanations about the sights throughout the tour. In fact, this guide has consistently received excellent reviews from previous guests. The tour is designed as a guided sightseeing experience around Rome, with the guide pointing out and explaining the main landmarks along the route. We understand that different travelers may prefer different types of tours, but describing the experience as simply being driven around without a guide does not accurately reflect the service provided.
