The driver was not at the prescribed meeting point and we had to wait 20 minutes for her to find us. Then the Van was set up for 8 passengers, we told them we had 4 passengers and 8 pieces of luggage. When we finally got to our hotel, she pushed my new suitcase out the back and onto the ground, breaking the handle. She left without telling us. The hotel staff watched it happen.
Thank you Leon_B for taking the time to leave us a review. We are very surprised to what you have written. First of all, we arranged a Mercedes Benz last model van for your pick up. It fits up to 8 people, that does not mean it's prepared for 8 people. Would you have preferred a sedan? You had a lot of luggage and would not have fitted. Regarding the waiting time, very sorry. The driver had to drop off other clients at another terminal, which made her wait a lot longer at their hotel. We tried arranging an earlier driver for you due to this unexpected delay but we could not. Finally, as in all the best hotels in Rome, the hotel concierge is the one helping the driver to move the luggage from the trunk to the floor. We are very sorry if your luggage broke, this is of course unintended, although it happened to the concierge. In any case, thank you for booking your roundtrip transfer with us. The request was for a vehicle that would accommodate 7 Adults, with 2 Lg Luggages, and 1 carry-on each. I reiterated the request on more than one occasion. I am irritated because passengers had no leg room, and had to hold their luggages in their laps. When I called Viator, they the company was closed, because they are scheduled to pick up the same 7 adults, hopefully it will be a comfortable vehicle as promised for the trip from a Rome hotel to the cruise port.
Ciao Fran_S, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Although, this a very unfair and misleading review. Our product is very clear regarding luggage. It's clarified in the inclusions and in the ticket confirmation that the maximum is 1 large and 1 cabin per person. We know, it's a physical limitation of a vehicle, that 21 pieces of luggage do not fit in a van. We never accepted this in advance, we've checked the messages and nothing regarding having 3 pieces per person was discussed. We would have said no right away and advise for a support vehicle. You decided unilaterally to bring 21 pieces of luggage.

5 of us needed a bigger taxi from airport to hotel in Rome. It worked out perfectly meeting up was easy cause good communication from start to finish ordered them to come 11/2 hrs after expected arrival to give us time necessary to get through immigration etc. it was perfect. Directions were clear and all went very well.highly recommend .

Very, very upset. My husband and I booked a ride from our hotel to the airport. We confirmed the day before via WhatsApp and everything seemed ready. Day of pickup they did not show up and there was no all or message. We had to spend an additional 74$ on an Uber. NOT COOL!

Driver was great but unfortunately because our flight got delayed almost 2 hours and we tried to change the pickup time we could not reach the company. Viator was no help as well. The driver tried but he was apparently not with the company just assigned by them.

You contacted our operations center at 06:30 AM requesting to change pick up to 09:00 AM. Believe us, we are very flexible, but this is very difficult. We assign all the drivers the evening before. This is why we inform at the time of booking after 20:00 the day before are subject to availability. We had 4 departures with your same flight, you are the only one complaining about not being able to change pick up time 1 hour before. We are not a taxi company and we do not function as such. We always try to be as flexible as we can, but in this case you had a driver waking up early to pick you up, you cannot expect him to wait at your hotel entrance 1h30. Hope for your understanding and hope our answer clarifies. Delays happen both ways and we understand, but this was too difficult to meet. The driver's time must also be respected. We ordered a large van for 5 of us and we all had big luggage. Very roomy and the driver even came early at our request as we were melting in the heat in Rome!
