Rome Cooking Class 2-in-1: Make Fresh Pasta and Tiramisu Together

Description
Join this fun, small-group, family-friendly cooking class to discover how to make two iconic Italian creations: fresh pasta and tiramisu. You’ll be a master by the end of it. And full to the brim. An ideal day in Rome if you ask us. To begin, learn how to make tiramisu step by step with the help of your local expert chef. Follow their guidance using the freshest local ingredients, and you’re well on your way to enjoying one of the staples of Italian cooking. Next up, you will learn how to make pasta from scratch. Roll your sleeves up and prepare to get floury. Shape, roll, and knead your dough until it’s ready to be sliced and cooked. Pair it with pizza and enjoy alongside traditional Italian drinks, including 2 glasses of prosecco, 2 glasses of wine, and a shot of limoncello, while you’re cooking too! At the end of the class, enjoy your creations with your new friends and chef, and you’ll also go home with an e-book of recipes so you can prepare your own pasta and tiramisu at home.

it was amazing everyone was so welcoming and the chef was so nice and it was my birthday and she made it so special
It was our first time visiting Rome with our two children (11 & 12 y/o). We were looking for a fun and interactive experience that everyone would enjoy. The location was very easy to find and were warmly welcomed by our host/chef, Angela. We started off by learning how to make tiramisu. Angela demonstrated and explained how simple it was to make with a few simple ingredients. We had turns whipping the egg whites and yolks and then she shared helpful tips on how to assemble our own individual desserts. Next we learned how to make pasta. Angela was showed us how to knead the dough to perfection. We had the opportunity to make a portion of pasta each. While Angela was setting up to make the sauces, we had a chance to mingle with the other participant over wine. The kids were able to have as much water and soda as they wanted. Angela went on to show us how to prepare cacio e pepe and carbonara sauces. Finally, we all sat down to enjoy the pasta dishes we made together. They were fantastic! Angela was a great host and it was a memorable experience for us and our kids. We highly recommend trying a cooking class in Rome.
Definitely recommend. Very fun community cooking class. Food is delicious!! Gaia and Adib were lots of fun and very helpful. Even the children liked it.
Teacher was patient and funny. Very clear instructions as well as an easy but really fun experience. Great meeting other people and being able to cook for my family when I get back home.
Amazing experience with Marzia! She was super funny and gave us a ton of practical tips to take home with us. I will be making these recipes regularly at home so that alone was more than worth the money. The experience was very fun for the kids (10 and 14), small group class of only 8 and a lot of good vibes and outstanding food! Thank you so much!
Thank you, Galina! We’re thrilled you had such a fun experience with Marzia and that the kids enjoyed the class too. It’s wonderful to hear you picked up practical tips to take home and loved the delicious food. We truly appreciate your kind words!
BEWARE! I booked this cooking class as a special family experience while we were in Rome. On the morning of the class, my niece woke up with a high fever and a severe cough. There was no responsible way to bring her to a hands-on cooking class where she would have exposed everyone else to illness. I notified the chef, Angela (who was spectacular by the way and has no bearing on this review other than taking over a day to get back to me with bad news), her assistant, Shayane (also a delight) immediately upon arrival, hoping they would at least offer a credit or allow her to attend another class since we had 5 more days remaining in Rome. Instead, they sent a lengthy response saying they understood our situation but refused any refund, credit, or rescheduling because of their policy. The disappointing part isn't the policy itself, it's the complete lack of flexibility after acknowledging that our circumstances were genuine. Businesses often say customer service matters, but this experience suggested otherwise.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear that your niece became unwell, and we completely understand why you chose not to bring her to the class. We’re also pleased to hear that Angela and Shayane provided a positive experience. At the same time, our cancellation policy applies consistently to all bookings, including last-minute cancellations due to illness, as we have already committed the chef, staff, ingredients, and class space based on the confirmed reservation. While we genuinely sympathize with your situation, making an exception after the cancellation deadline would not be fair to the other guests or sustainable for our small-group classes. We appreciate your understanding and hope your niece recovered quickly and that the rest of your time in Rome was enjoyable.
The host was just like my nonna, very welcoming and helpful and did an amazing job teaching how to make carbonara and cacio e pepe.
Thank you! We're delighted you had such a warm and authentic experience. We're glad your host made you feel like you were cooking with your own nonna and that you enjoyed learning how to make carbonara and cacio e pepe. We truly appreciate your kind words!
