Roe & Co Distillery Experiences

LOVE LOVE LOVED the Roe & Co's Beyond the Blend tour!! It's such a great value for the money (we bought ours as a combo with the Guinness Storehouse Tour- also highly recommended), and the Roe & Co distillery was our favorite part of the whole experience! Oisin was a great tour guide- very knowledgeable and fun, and of all the bourbon/whiskey/wine tastings we've done over the years across the US/UK, this is by far my favorite! You get three whiskeys to try + a cocktail that they teach you how to make with whiskey that isn't available for retail + confections made by a Michelin star chef who exclusively works for this distillery + a fourth whiskey to try at their bar that's only available in their distillery! It was so much whiskey and fun for the price! I even enjoyed the tour and whiskey so much that it's the only place from my 2-week UK trip that I purchased a full bottle to take home. Cannot recommend this tour and distillery enough!

Excellent visit to a small distillery, in contrast to the big rival on the other side of the River ;) Our guide, Tim, was friendly and attentive to questions and doubts. The tasting and mixing part, without a doubt, is essential. I only missed having visited the barrel area. In any case, a mandatory experience.

Chris was our host. He was excellent and very engaging. The tour of the distillery was pitched ro the point without being overbearing. The cocktail making session was class. I loved that part. This was a Birthday present so it was great We then went downstairs ro the bar and Chris had a cocktail made for us. This was nice because we got ro chat to people from different parts of the world. We have been to Teelings distillery tour but to be honest I found this was better. Well done Chris. You are a gent.

AMAZING experience, highly recommended if you are visiting Dublin. The guide was fab (Tim) so knowledgeable and warm, the tour was taken in a small group which made it more personable. I’m not a whiskey drinker but converted. A lovely addition to our day out ❤️

The distillery and tour were lovely and so was the staff although our tour guide was unhelpful and sfaccato and delivered the fascinating information in a bored and deadpan way.

Staff were super friendly, Kelly was very engaging and we learnt lots about the distillery. The cocktails were delicious. It was a great add on after the Guinness tour

Isobel expertly guided us through the foundational mechanics of mixology, explaining how the specific flavor profiles of Roe & Co’s signature premium blended Irish whiskey interact with various components. The balance of the blend—with its rich vanilla smoothness, vibrant pear fruitiness, and subtle spiced undertones—serves as a magnificent canvas for cocktail design. Under her watchful eye, we experimented with flavor balancing, turning premium spirits into bespoke liquid art. The sensory journey reached its peak during the post-tour tasting session in their spectacular, design-forward cocktail lounge. Here, we were served a truly outstanding, custom strawberry-based cocktail crafted with Roe & Co's own blended whiskey. The drink was a revelation: the bright, summer sweetness of the fresh strawberry perfectly complemented the robust, silky grain and malt layers of the whiskey. It was an incredibly sophisticated demonstration of how beautifully a modern Irish blend can elevate contemporary fruit-forward mixology. After the tour concluded, we spent time exploring the distillery store, where the incredible customer care continued seamlessly. His precision, meticulous attention to detail, and genuine pride in his craft turned a standard retail keepsake into a treasured, highly personalized memento of our journey. Grant’s warmth was mirrored by every single member of the floor and distillery team we encountered throughout the afternoon. Fun and informative tour with a very instructive tasting and cocktail making, this is a great tour. Knowledgeable fun guides who take you through this beautiful facility. Would recommend and go on this tour again.
