Joe is a friendly and very knowledgeable guide. We had a good time with him however there are areas of improvement. He walked too fast, spoke too fast, was not engaging, felt like he was reciting a book. As a guide he was too quick and on a mission to get it finished regardless of what information was retained by his visitors. He needs to sound the part as a tour guide, professional and interactive rather than just wanting to get it done.
Thank you Valerie for the feedback as we’re always looking to improve. I will try to be more conscious over the pace of the tour to ensure every tour is relaxed and interesting for all.
Found myself tagging along with Joe as he was leading a couple of people through Sackville Gardens while I was there. Ended up on a very cool walking tour! Great musical, historical and architectural tidbits — plus a ghost story, believe it or not. Fab, made my day.
The tour was informative and interesting. This wasn’t our first time to ma Chester but we learned a lot and found new hidden gems along the way
Amazing tour, every part was interesting and a great mix about the music, history and architecture of the city.
Great walk. Joe, the guide is lovely, knowledgeable, approachable and makes the info relatable by playing music. He really knows what he's talking about. After the tour he also sends links to find out more. The only reason for the missing star is because the tour went a little off plan but would definitely recommend to anyone. A great intro to the city. Thanks Joe, best wishes. 😁 .
Very detailed tour , very interesting, gave a good review at each stopping point and had time for questions

Great walking tour around Manchester. Joe was very knowledgable and entertaining, not just about music but history of the area too. Easy meeting point, tour lasted around 2 1/2 hours. A must for fans of the Manchester music scene.
