Roatan Private ATV Guided Jungle Tour

We had an absolutely amazing experience with our guide Marlon. He was waiting for us at the spot and time he said he would be at the cruise port. We went in his car to an animal sanctuary where we were able to touch, hold, feed, learn about and take pictures with animals from Roatan including monkeys, macaws, sloths (did not hold the sloth) and more. We then went to get on ATVs. After a short lesson we traveled on our own ATV through dirt paths, jungle and beach terrain. We were led by an ATV with 2 guides, one watching us to make sure we were safe and the other driving. Marlon followed on his ATV. We were able to stop and take pictures as well as swim for a bit in the beautiful and pristine water. After an hour and a half on the ATV's, Marlon took us to a brewery to sample Roatan beers, and we could have gotten something to eat there as well. We then stopped at a Rum factory and had some delicious frozen drinks and bought rum souvenirs. Marlon also stopped during the trip a couple of other times at souvenir stands. He then took us around the island and through quaint towns and beach areas commentating about everything and answering questions throughout. He offered to let us stop at the Roatan sign to take pictures, but we were ready to go back to the port. We had plenty of time left at the port to go through the shops and board the ship without stress of being late. When booking, I was nervous about the timing and making it back to port in time. Marlon was very responsive messaging ahead of time and it was really fine. In fact, the entire experience felt very safe which left us to just ENJOY! Don't hesitate, book this experience! We are now in love with Roatin and must return!

Our driver Omar was great with a sweet ride. We never felt rushed. He was friendly and knowledgeable. ATV Guided Jungle Tour was the highlight of our excursion in Roatan. Manny and Danny were so experienced. The private tour was so fun.

We had an amazing day with Sunfriends Roatan! From the moment they picked us up, everyone made us feel welcome and taken care of. The whole team was friendly, professional, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what they do. The ATV tour was definitely the highlight of our trip. The trails were a lot of fun, and the views around the island were absolutely incredible. We stopped several times to take photos, and every spot seemed more beautiful than the last, with lush green hills and stunning views of the ocean. One thing we really enjoyed was that it wasn’t just an ATV ride. Along the way, we learned a bit about the island, its culture, and local life, which made the experiance even more special. Ending the tour at the beach was the perfect touch. Relaxing in the clear turquoise water after the adventure was unforgettable. A special thanks to our guide, Omar. He was fantastic—friendly, knowledgable, and always making sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. He kept the group engaged, shared interesting facts about Roatan, and made the whole experience fun from start to finish. What stood out most was the personal attention from the Sunfriends team. You can tell they really care about their guests and want everyone to have a great experiance. If you’re visiting Roatan, I highly reccomend booking with Sunfriends. It was one of our favorite excursions on the island, and we’ll definately be booking with them again when we come back. Thanks agian for such a great day!

One of the best family experiences we’ve had. The Sunfriends team was extremely friendly and professional from the very beginning. We felt safe the entire time during the ATV tour, and they were always attentive to every detail and to the group. The route offers amazing views and beautiful spots for photos. Everything was very well organized, easy to book, and communication was smooth before and during the activity. It’s perfect for families, even with kids, because they make you feel comfortable and supported at all times. We definitely recommend them 100% and would do it again with Sunfriends.

Cindy, our tour guide was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and we were back to our cruise ship on time with no issues. The owner, Marlon was wonderful to work with as well. He was very responsive. Great people and a wonderful tour!

We had a great day in Roatan thanks to Marlon and his plans. Spent a couple hours on the four wheelers driving around the island, then went to the animal sanctuary. Afterwards he took us to one of his favorite lunch places and then we went to the chocolate Factory and rum cake factory. Great experience, especially because it was a private tour. Definitely would recommend.

We had a great day exploring Roatan on this private tour. Stopped at the rum factory, chocolate factory, Roatan sign, Maya Eden animal sanctuary and ended with a nearly 2 hour ATV ride. We were pleasantly surprised when the ride took us beach side! The guides were friendly and helpful! Sunfriends was great to work with and quick to respond to my questions. Highly recommend!

All around a great experience. Our driver Cindy was great and took us anywhere we wanted to go and let us skip some things we had already done before. Our atv ride with Marlon was great. We saw a lot of beautiful places and rode all over the island on atvs

This trip with Marlon was the best trip we had on our Cruise ship tour in middle america. We had so much fun and Marlon did his Best to fullfill our wishes. Everything was perfect with this trip. We did this trip in a small group and Marlon told us a lot about Roatan. He also took care of our personal wishes. 1000% recommendation. Will come again to Marlon if we visit Roatan again. Besides the amazing Trip with the ATVs , Marlon was one of - if not the best guide we ever had.
